Before setting off on my trip to Thunder Bay, I decided to make a pitstop at Popeyes, primarily because I knew they offered Halal chicken. Little did I know that this visit would turn out to be an unexpected delight.

When I bit into the chicken, I was in for a treat. It was piping hot and incredibly flavorful, with a perfect blend of spices. I opted for thighs and legs, and they were juicy and tender.

Not only did I enjoy my meal, but my kids also relished their food, particularly the delectable fries. I paired my meal with a fountain drink, and what made it even better was the offer of unlimited refills.

The most horrible customer service experience ever received that gave me a point to write a review against them. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo that comes with a side and a beverage. When I received my order the items were missing in there as I ordered a orange juice. So I went outside and asked the driver as he was still in the driveway and he said this what they gave him I can check with the restaurant. So I called them and the girl talking on the phone definitely needed some more training on how to work at a restaurant and what is customer service. As I told her that the items are missing in there and I came from work and was tired and hungry that's why I ordered the food and this is how I get my order even after paying. So she responded and said oh I will give you for free the next time you order and I said that definitely I'm not ordering again from them and how would anyone know that you have to compensate for my missing items and how can you just give it for free she said oh you order next time and I will give you free, so I asked her name and she disconnected the call on me! And after that I tried calling them more than 10 times and no one responded and even the voicemail wasn't initiated. This was the point that I had to write a review for this experience! Heading into my hotel room with my family I decided to order from this Popeye's through SkipTheDishes. We wanted to try it after hearing so many good things about Popeye's. We decided to order a couple of combos (cajun chicken burger, butterfly shrimp), 8 pieces of chicken and 4 extra biscuits. We wanted to try a few different things to really get a feel for it. The order came in a timely manner, and seemed fairly reasonably priced. Then we looked at the order. It was completely incorrect. We received a popcorn shrimp meal and a chicken tender meal (which had a spicy chicken leg in it for some reason). So we were short our 8 chicken, 4 biscuits and had the wrong combos. Even what we did get was cold. The popcorn shrimp looked like shrapnel and leftovers. The Skip driver tried to help by calling Popeye's to see about fixing the order. He called 3 or 4 times and did not get through. The phone was not answered any of the times he called. Shout out to that Skip driver though. Eventually we just gave up on getting a hold of Popeye's.
