Simple Wok — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

It's not often I am able to treat myself to fast food, but I figured, what the heck, I haven't had Chinese food in ages and I was in a hurry. I have tried this place in the past and it's been hit and miss, mostly miss, but I tried again. This time, big miss. The service was fine, the gentleman server was pleasant (I've had non-pleasant service in the past from someone else), but I ordered the noodles or rice and one item dish. So, I asked for the bean sprouts instead of rice as the noodle portion. I would have to say there were three bean sprouts and the rest was shredded cabbage. I paid almost $13 for a few bite size chunks of not-so-stellar Sesame Chicken and a pile of warm tasteless stringy coleslaw wearing bean sprout camo. If it weren't for the single packet of plum sauce I had to get up and ask for...(and was able to swing two), I would have saved this for the dog... what a let down. They fraudulently slip in fees that they do not tell you about. I ordered a combo for $10.99 plus tax should have come to $12.42 taxes in. They charged $13.10. When I asked why, they said there was a $0.50 debit card fee but I paid by cash. He said he refunded me the correct amount by adding the $0.50 back onto my change (without saying anything to me and the register saying $13.10) but even if you add $0.50 on for a debit charge it would have only come to $12.98. Everything taste the same. Only 2 options overly salty or mildly sweet. Its been hit or miss over the years but i think its time they change up the menu. It all taste the same. Like cheap sauces with to much msg or salt. The ppl are not that great at talking to the customers. So the customer service sucks. I had better service at a lunch Cafeteria in high school. Please reconsider changing the menu and your look. Def taste your food. If i was blindfolded i would not have been able to tell what was one thing from another...
