I love Frank's Pizza. Now hold on all you who have such negative reviews. Just because an owner doesn't spent tons of money on sprucing up a location means nothing about the great pizza. The bad reviews listed below but speaking to the manager to find out the truth and details about the firing that happened 10 years ago, WON'T STOP ME FROM GETTING FRANK'S PIZZA! I'm very picky about my pizza and I only like 2 locations in Winnipeg and Frank's in Selkirk. Keep up the great job staff at Frank's. I always receive good customer service, a happy person on the line taking my order not to mention patient, when my friends can't decide what kinds of pizzas we want to order. The great quality product is what we are all after, which means if you want great quality pizza to accompany the great customer service, call Frank's pizza right away. Below is the truth about the 10 year firing of a girl for helping a dying person. Before placing judgment, find out the truth and details because you become a judge, jury and throw someone in the dungeon. As adults we need to start accounting for our own actions and remember decisions always have concequences, I learned that lesson when I was young, I guess not all people have learned yet, which is sad.
As for the firing of a staff for helping a dying person, you really should "go directly to the horse instead of listening to gossip". This girl who was fired was going to be fired anyway after 1 more incident because she wasn't a good employee. Also when on the delivery, firstly she was going to that house to buy drugs as she was a drug user. Secondly, this story and incident happened over 10 years ago. Thirdly, yes there was an injured person at the location and it's great she assisted but she was working. As a responsible person as we all are, she should have contacted her employer immediately to let them know where she was and what she was doing. If I was the employer and I didn't hear from one of my employees, I would have thought something happened to her or she simply quit because she didn't phone, she didn't text, she didn't notify her employer what she was doing and he hadn't heard from her for hours. Now I know if any of you were owners of a business and counted on your staff to be at work and if not, check in if you attended to an emergency, that would be the least you would expect from a responsible employee. This girl didn't do anything, the employer could have also suspected that she just simply got her drugs and was using them & chose not to return to work. The owner isn't a mind reader. So before you all judge so quickly without getting all the facts, which I started to do last night until I had a long conversation with the manager and asked questions myself to know the truth. So if you want to truth, be an adult, use your brains and ask questions instead of reading only what's in the newspapers, which all responsible and respectful people know isn't always the truth or half truths, go directly to the source and find out yourself. Stop hanging someone for no reason because this firing would have happened if I had a such an irresponsible employee. Koodos that she tried to help but she should have notified her boss as she was working at the time. Come people start accounting for your own actions, we are all adults for cryin out loud. Grow up!!! Keep up making the great quality product going in hand with the great customer service, both characteristics of a good business. Not to mention the management team including the owner are the best to work for as quoted by staff who work there, when I called last night to clear this matter up once...
Read moreMy boyfriend ordered a pizza to the Selkirk hospital as he is in hospital. Upon ordering on the phone he clearly told the manager jordan the driver needs to send change for $100 bill , and he is timing going to get pizza before getting his next treatment . The driver came and had no knowledge of the $100 bill situation , my boyfriend asked to speak with manager and explained he could not wait for driver to go get change and come back as nurse was waiting to hook him up for treatment . The manager “jordan” was rude and argumentive and offered no other solutions, like someone with good customer service skills would . My boyfriend offered to etransfer . Felt sorry for delivery driver as they were trying to blame the poor guy who had nothing to do with their lack of communication or lack of customer service skills . My boyfriend had no choice but to hand the pizza back and go back up for his treatment . I would think they would have even offered to send driver back to room with correct change but they did not offer any solutions just...
Read moreOver rated and DEFINITELY over priced! I like pizza as much as the next person, but when I ordered 2 large pizzas (pepperoni & meat lovers), for take out - I had to call back ensure I heard it right - as it totaled $83. When I questioned if there was any deals to be had, the answer was “no, that’s what it is and we already put the order in the oven” - literally 30 seconds after I called. I didn’t want to cancel as that would be rude (in my eyes), and I chalked this up to learning the hard way. It was decent pizza, but not with the tab on it. The pepperoni was a pretty standard pie, but the meat lovers was a little less to be desired. Some portions of the dough weren’t cooked thoroughly, and the beef that was on it was dry af. Because we ordered this on the way to the cabin, we ate some of it along the way, and then tried to eat the rest at the cabin. A lot of water was involved in getting it down. I heard Franks was pricey - but not this pricey. My mistake and I’ll more than likely pass on it if I’m ever asked to order from there...
