Noodlebox — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

I wanted to give some feedback I’ve had at this establishment over my last 4 visits.

On numerous occasions I’ve asked the cashier for suggestion/recommendations and I get an “I don’t know” which is frustrating when they don’t know and don’t ask anyone else. I’ve been the only one in line at the time so being a busy time wasn’t the issue. On another occasion again the cashier couldn’t help so they asked the person cooking and they weren’t helpful either.

My third visit I had called ahead to place my order, they asked when I was going to arrive I said 15 min and was told it would be ready when I arrived (I was rushing to an apt afterwards) Upon my arrival to pick up there were 3 employees there not not working on filling orders. I was the only one there, when I asked for my order I was told oh we will get that started right away we just need 10 min. I said forget it and left extremely disappointed.

I specifically called to place to order ahead of time for a reason.

I decided to give another try (I go here only bc they offer zucchini noodles) this time they were out of noodles (it was mon at 5:00pm)

I proceeded with the order anyways with rice instead. The dish was no good, it changed the entire texture of what I had got before by the time I ate it it was a pile of mushy rice since it absorbed all the liquid.

My kids really like coming here so I’m sure I will come back for them but unsure I will be...

The service here is the best out of any restaurant I've ever been to! After a long search for a restaurant on SkipTheDishes that made some soup, we settled here (due to the fact that my girlfriend had just had her wisdom teeth removed). I had put very specific instructions down to use the thinnest noodles and have everything in the soup soft enough that she could eat it. We waited an astounding 2 hours for our food and never got anything. The food was said to be delivered, on our end and theirs, but hadn't even been picked up. They called us and apologized, remade the food to have it nice and hot, and had it delivered to our house. They don't even offer delivery service. They fought with skip and got nowhere, but went above and beyond instead. It's stuff like this that keeps customers coming back. I don't even remember liking noodlebox but it was delicious!!

Food - 10/10 Service - 17/10 Satisfaction - 10/10

Absolutely my favorite place in Sherwood park for noodles lately. Today I have the Black bean and garlic with chow mein and medium spiciness, chicken protein. It was amazing.The new owner is lovely, she reached out to me when I was struggling with food insecurity on Facebook and was kind enough to give me a gift card on top of that. I've tried 6 of their dishes, the Honey Garlic Chicken was my favorite. The medium hot spicy level is pretty darn spicy and I've even had ghost Pepper and Carolina reaper jerky and sauce before. The vegetables are fresh as heck, and I haven't had any issues. If anything I think the place should be more busy, I can't stress enough how much I prefer it over Oodle Noodle, Panda Express, Pad Thai/Chinese restaurants we have. I even prefer it to Wok Box.
