Came in with intention of getting food to go, ending up staying to eat - great decision. The latte was potentially the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast sandwich isn’t typical, more of a grilled sandwich with sourdough bread (from Working Culture - my favourite) with egg (appeared to be scrambled and steamed - very good, soft texture and well seasoned). The sandwich was genuinely delightful - the house pickled red onions in particular were excellent as well as the pesto (also appeared to be made in house). The ambiance was very nice and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and provided nice table service as it wasn’t busy. Any time I’m in the area I will be going back at the very least for a latte.

Came in for a salted chocolate cookie ended up having a salad and a latte best decision I’ve made Courtney Jeanna and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made time to talk to me. Being from out of town I made a second trip before heading back to Manitoba. If you’re ever in Sidney by the sea it is one coffee shop that you have to check out. It’s worth the trip. Perry

It was totally worth the visit! It has about ~5 outdoor tables and has beautiful views/shade. I was greeted with smiles and it was just the perfect communication I expect from a top notch friendly shop and the order came out within a minute! The Affogato I got was done perfectly with the right balance and taste. I finally feel like I’m on vacation now.

thought to try this cute small spot in sidney today..Do not recommend! i ordered an americano and the barista with no mask sneezed right over my coffee! Then she turned around red nose dripping with snot, and said "here we are" I hesitated, and said do u have a cold and the other barista said its just allergies, i assure you and expected me to take it anyway. At this point I noticed the service counter had cream and sugar and sticky stuff all over it. i turned to the tables,to pick a seat with my daughter, and the one available was coated in food smears and crumbs as was the seat itself..with 3 people behind the counter and 2 customers, i think they could do much better.

Upon leaving i returned the coffee and suggested the sneezing person at least wear a mask, and the second barista offered ..Not to refund, but rather to do it all over again! i cant believe i gave her a tip.

I would strongly suggest avoiding this dirty place and its careless...

I only tried their almond cookie which was very tasty. It was becoming my every day spot to go to because of that cookie but today right after finished my coffee the owner came and asked me to leave because she had other customers wanting to have a table. There were two ladies at another table who were there before me with their empty cups on their table and she didn’t even say anything to them. She asked me if I am going to buy anything. Even though I would I said no and I left.

I heard her saying she took some tables off her place to another customer few days ago, maybe rather than loosing new customers she can put those tables back. I am not planing on going back there.

Very few things on the menu. 2/3 of the menu board is empty. They also don’t have wifi. As long as you constantly purchase something you are expected to leave. You can read that kind of an impression from her face from the moment you go...

I’ve been to this cafe a few times and had good interactions with staff when buying their delicious chocolate sea salt cookies unfortunately today was different. We had come in around 1pm and saw that a staff member had taken the cookies out of the oven and as there was only one in the jar (we wanted 4) we had asked if they’d be ready after an hour as they were too hot to sell at that moment. We came back in and none were out so we asked the girl behind the counter and she looked at us as if we were stupid and said we put them in the freezer. The whole interaction was embarrassing and there was no offer to sell us the frozen cookies, not even a simple apology for any confusion. The experience has soured my opinion of the cafe as we’re new to the area and were excited to find a place with good baking. Today we’ve walked away...
