McDonald's — Restaurant in Smiths Falls

October 12 2023 this store decided to close in the early evening without posting anything about the closure. People where in the drive-thru waiting for a long time thinking the place was open because it's supposed to be open till midnight. I waited in line for a half an hour in that drive-thru just to get to the window to find out it's closed. They don't have no signs nowhere saying it's closed or nothing lights still on drive-thru signs still lit up and on. This is the worst McDonald's and the owner of this McDonald's should be ashamed of themselves. It's seems the owners of this McDonald's is someone who doesn't care about their customers or their employees. Whoever owns this place is a really bad person. They need to sell this McDonald's to a competent person who can run the place properly.

The food here is ok at the best of times. During the lunch or supper rush the food they serve me is rushed and half made. They give out half full fries. The burgers are made with sauce and condiments half on half off the burger. The burger is usually half off the bun. This place is very poorly run during rush times it seems. I don't usually eat McDonald's but when I do I will avoid this location and I no longer order from here. Don't even think about getting a coffee here they forget to sugar or cream either one but they usually forget. Really incompetent employees and employers at this McDonald's. McDonald's shouldn't start a coffee shop cuz their employees do not want to make coffee properly and they don't care. This is such a bad McDonald's don't bring your children here at all. Everytime I go inside to order, it takes upwards of five minutes to get my food while staff focus on the drive thru. Everytime I go through the drive thru, they almost always park me because for some reason they never have chicken nuggets ready. Then instead of giving fresh fries with fresh nuggets, they will give warmish fries that will be cold once back at home. They almost never have apple pies. In the last dozen or so times I have gone they had apple pies once. They constantly mess up mobile orders. I had been given someone else's food before after waiting for my mobile order.

Spent $15.02 on a Crispy Chicken BLT. The food arrived quickly. Fixing the sandwich in the box I found that the chicken patty was disgusting looking. (See Picture) There was no doubt in my mind that it been sitting pass it hold time. Took it up to the counter only to get a angry response from the older lady behind counter. Was told to sit down and a manager would come talk to me. Manager came out and gave me a anger filled line that the chicken was that way because of the cajun spice in the batter and it was perfectly fine. Problem it wasn't a spicy chicken it was plain. The sandwich was disgusting didn't finish it. So to sum up I paid $15.02 for a fry and pop. Not that McDonalds care but I won't be back...
