Tried twice, as I really wanted this to be good. Unfortunately the service is just terrible. The food was pretty good but bland for Mexican and a bit overpriced for what you get. The first time service was painfully slow and our $12.50 margaritas stayed empty after ordering refills. When we finally went to the front to pay after sitting with empty plates and drinks for at least 10 minutes, the drinks we didn't get were on the bill and we had to ask for them to removed.
The second time we sat quickly as there was only one other person in the restaurant. There were 2 tables out on the deck. The lady who sat us got us water and then we sat and waited. We waited 10-15 minutes and when the waitress came in she walked past us to the other lady in the restaurant. We listened to them chat for 5-10 minutes then she walked away like we were invisible. A total of 20 minutes and we hadn't even ordered a drink. Decided to leave, we eat out regularly and really wanted another place to enjoy. So very...
Read moreWhat a lovely little restaurant! We felt like we had flown back to Tulum! Meals we delicious, and let me tell you, the portions were HUGE!! Hubby had a burrito, and I had the burrito bowl, while our daughter had the kids burrito. Ingredients were fresh and very tasty! Hubby's was so large, he said he would have been full ordering the kids burrito, but it works great if you want a second meal from it! Coffee was super fresh, and surprisingly delicious! (Coffee anywhere can be hit and miss when you drink it black. Here, it was actually really good!!) Dessert smelled delicious (the neighbouring table ordered churros), but we were so full, there was definitely no room for it! Next time!!) Our only concern (which was out of their hands!), was the amount of wasps inside. It's that time of year, unfortunately, but there were a ton of them! (They made my daughter more than a little nervous!) All in all, fantastic restaurant, great service, delicious food, and somewhere we look forward to...
Read moreA MUST EAT AT IT! Try it all if you can nobody wants good regret.
This was a happy accident, we didn’t plan on coming here, the place we planned on going to wasn’t offering dine-in service and they were here so it was a no brainer.
After coming in and speaking with the lovely ladies who own and work the place themselves it was a welcoming feeling. Almost like going to visit a favourite relative you don’t spend enough time with.
After going over the menu a few times. We settled on some shrimp tacos, chips and salsa. We also ordered a chicken burrito and found out they had a secret menu burrito 😉(we ordered one of those too). One of the major aspect to take note of is they make all the salsas in house. Food was pretty amazing, felt like being back in Mexico taste and flavour, the decor is fun and definitely brings out the festive nature in a person.
A must to eat at.
Remember try as much as you can here you don’t want...
