If there was an option for no stars or negative stars I would definitely use it. This Tim Horton's has to be the worst one out of the entire chain of 4,000 plus stores Canada wide. Since they first opened I have had bad service, very abysmal food, and coffee that is never stirred. The wait times in the drive thru are ungodly long and if you choose to walk in then be prepared to wait even longer as they almost don’t acknowledge you walk in as all their staff is centered in the drive thru. The pictures attached to this review were taken on Boxing Day when I went for my morning coffee. After getting to the store through the ice and snow I walked in and ordered my usual two XL triple triples, after waiting roughly 5 minutes I received them and began to walk back home. I tasted my coffee as I usually do because they mess it up so much I had to make sure it was right. I tested it about 6 minutes into my walk and it tasted disgusting but as I was already a majority of the way back to my house I imagined it just needed sugar. When I arrived at my house I took the lid off to put some sugar in and to my surprise the coffee had CURDLED cream in it. I immediately was disgusted and called them right away, they finally picked up after the third call. I explained to them what happened and all they told me was “ok come back and we’ll make you new ones” completely ignoring the fact that there was curdled cream in my coffee and that it is not food safe to be giving customers this and that their staff should know better. I’m honestly tired of complaining to management about these issues and that’s why I’m putting this revived out there. I get told by management not to bash all their staff and I can agree to that, however there is very minimal staff at this location that actually do their job and know how to work so it’s very hard not to generalize. This is precisely what happened. I wouldn't be posting this too if the employee hadn't ignored my presence when I tapped on the window and rattled the door. When I did finally get his attention he just pointed to his left. I thought this meant that there was another door or to go through the drive through. Nope. No idea what he pointed at yet. Maybe he was pointing to A&W trying to tell me to go there instead and save my time. That or he pointed to the sign that said they were open for another 15 minutes.
I wouldn't even have cared if he'd come to the door and said something like they closed earlier to let some employees go home early. Instead he gets this review which I hope management sees.
For future reference, when you are being paid as an employee to run a business until close and you close early... come talk to the customer trying to get in. Or turn the lights off. Don't just stand there looking at me as if I'm the problem for trying to get into a business that's supposed to be open.
It's a Tim's, my expectations were low but that was just rude and probable time theft likely borne out of laziness and a lack of supervision. That kid isn't going far if that's his work ethic.

Read moreWent in there Sept 10 ordered on the app 457pm. Was not busy a blonde high school girl was extremely rude when we told her we were here to collect our mobile order. Instead of saying I'm sorry we haven't received it yet she was like we haven't received it you're just gonna have to wait she was wearing air pods on the floor had to remove one to even hear us. She wasnt even willing to look into it for us. We left for the drive thru we did flip her she definitely earned that. As we went to the drive thru she who was not even on drive thru came on the speaker to further escalate the conflict. So we left for the window spoke with a lady who we presume is a supervisor who to her credit tried to de escalate the situation but that blonde girl kept yelling in the background I don't know her name as she was not wearing a name tag. So we were like just refund us then another girl suggested we put it through at the wrong location to which I was like 6660 sooke rd she was like that's not our address I was like wow. As we got a refund and were leaving the blonde girl yells from the back IMBRED. So we went back in and much to our surprise the blonde girl or anyone else would come talk to us. I have filed a formal complaint through guest services I hope they deal with this...
