Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in St. Catharines

After spending so much time getting all invitations out, getting everything ready, gifts, decorations, etc ready for a surprise birthday party I have been planning for the last month, i suddenly realized that although i thought i was ready to start receiving guests within the following hour it suddenly ocured to me that i did indeed have everything ready except for the most important part of a birthday party, I had completely forgotten to order his favorite cake from his favorite Dairy queen on Geneva. I was in tears thinking i was too late.. but thanks to a wonderful staff member Desiree, with much patience, such kindness and compassion very kind and eager to help her customer Desiree along with her manager Rupindeer, saved the day, so happy to say that within 30 mins from the time i called and spoke with Desiree, combining her efforts with her manger Rutindeer, I was fortunate enough to have in my hands a very fresh and beautifully decorated (personalized to my husband ) Ice cream cake!!! so many thank-you's to you Desiree, staff and manager Rupindeer for saving the day, the family reunion and of course helping me resolve my sudden dilemma!!! So grateful that The Geneva Dairy Queen is staffed with such professional, caring, eager to please and always serving their customers with such kindness, patience, quick service and of course the best Ice Cream Cakes in the Niagara Region! again thank- you so much to Desiree and Rupindeer from our Geneva DQ.... Very familiar with dairy queen restaurants as i worked there as a teen and have been enjoying their food for around 15 years now! Upon my visit the only cashier is on the phone chatting with no acknowledgement of my arrival. Instead i got to stand there for 2 or 3 minutes and notice how disgusting everything is.My pictures dont do it justice. Mind you it is late at night and they could have had a rush but no eymployees I could see were cleaning at all, but had time to talk on the phone. Diary queen is a ice cream place so you can expect it to be a little cold in there but 57 seemed freezing! Either way youd expect the drinks to be cold as well the very least..room temperature somehow! There was no ice but the man i asked went to the back straight away to get more. I appreciated it and he seemed like the manager and a very nice man although quiet. Food took 20 minutes although we were the only customers at the time. That paired with having to stare at sauces and toppings all over the place the whole long wait i was there i will definitely not be coming back to this location, unfortunately with it being the only location with a grill close by my dairy queen days seem to be numbered as of now....

Worse place to get a cake from. Ordered our daughter a cake had to make an adjustment called them first thing in the morning when they opened to inform them of the change with the picture and the writing (pick up was next day) told me that fine and our cake will be ready for after 2pm. Next day (yesterday)my wife went to pick up our cake about 2:15 and our cake wasn't ready and on top of it they had the original picture on there when I made the change yesterday morning. Ended up waiting at the store for over an hour and all they did was put the picture we wanted over top of the old picture. Then they didn't even get the writing right. My wife was in tears at this point because our daughter's birthday party was in an hour and they messed up so bad. All they offered at the store was 10%of which was only 3 Dollars with us still having to pay $30. Called and spoke to the manager and all they say is there sorry and offer me another discount on my next cake when I go in next. Don't got a birthday coming up anytime soon so don't really need it. Not really impressed with this at all and just giving...
