Fine Grind Cafe — Restaurant in St. Catharines

One of the coolest cafes I’d been too! The prices are cheap ($2-$4 coffees), there is free wifi and there is really cool aesthetically pleasing interiors.

They sell many different kinds of plants which is a nice little bonus for a random cafe.

The owner is such a hardworking guy, I almost feel bad seeing him run around so much doing all the brewing, serving, cleaning and billing. However, service was really good despite it being a one-man show.

They have free women’s hygiene products in the washroom which I really appreciate, despite being a male. I just really like businesses that take the little important things into consideration.

Only downside is that there is really little space. 4-5 groups and it’ll lead to a table shortage. A student like myself requires quiet a bit of desk space to work as I usually have a laptop alongside some books and space needed for my beverage.

The owner's name is Rob and he's such a friendly guy to talk to! Their Iced Coffee is sooooo delicious! OMG! I take my coffee black, which only means that I took my Iced Coffee black and I was so impressed with the flavour that it had! I'm so happy to have found this gem of a coffee store for a little pick me up and the selection that he had was just amazing. Go check this place out and check out his work of art that is the pour over machines that's he's made!! They're super cute and match the esthetic of the store. We were welcomed very warmly by the shop owner, and they made us some wonderful and delicious oat iced lattes. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the plants were a perfect touch! Tons of literature on marginalized communities including the ongoing war and genocide in Palestine and Sudan, and queer liberation was ample and everywhere.
