There were 2 of us. My husband doesn’t usually eat food outside of his preferred taste palate. There was a chance he wouldn’t like Korean food. But we are very happy we chose this place. When we first arrived, we were greeted by the staff. She is super polite. While we were deciding what to order, the waitress brought us a bunch of appetizers. 2 small portions of cabbage salad with an orange sauce . I couldn’t quite tell what it was tho. Sweet carrot maybe. A tray of spring rolls. Two little plates of picked Vegetables? (I don’t really eat or know vegetables lol). Two miso soups. And a pot of hot jasmine tea. The waitress explained what each item was. I was just the one to forget what it was a minute later. We really liked them. We then ordered more. An appetizer combo of spring rolls and pork dumplings . Deep Fried chicken (gang-jeong) and beef combo. It was delicious! And the portions were huge! Definitely worth their price. And the green tea cheesecake! Mmmm that was also so delicious. Throughout the service, the waitress was really good and polite. She does a great job. I highly recommend this place. I can see that it is being run with Heart!
For parking- you will have to park on the side of the street. the inside of the restaurant is cozy and small. It has only 3 tables. Only Around 12 people could fit there. But in the summer when it’s warmer you could sit outside. All of the things we ordered (4 items) plus the appetizers that the waitress brought us, which didn’t even go into the final receipt! All those appetizers and we only paid for what we ordered (4 items)! Highly...

However, if you like a small and intimate place with great service, Korean pop music, delicious food, all at reasonable prices - look no further.
When you first have a seat at one of the several small tables, you are served a complimentary tea, iceberg lettuce salad with a sweet citrus sauce (I can't place it exactly), and a vegetable spring roll.
They have a diverse menu with many popular Korean dishes, from, soups, to noodles, to rice, and vegetarian options. It is honestly hard to decide.
They also serve various drinks including tea, and even the Korean double-double coffee.
For dessert they have ice cream and a couple of different cheesecakes.
To put it simply, if you want a nice meal at a mom and pop shop with lots of Korean charm then I'd give this place a try. I am a huge fan.
They don't have a parking lot, but there is plenty of space on the side street and a spot or...
Read moreFound this place on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised with how fresh and “home cooked” the food was! Tucked away off the beaten path, the food was a mix of classic Korean street food with some easy to eat traditional fare.
I wouldn’t say it’s tailored for those used to the regular Korean food selection of items but it’s familiar enough where native could find great choices and people new to the cuisine can dip their toes in without feeling overwhelmed.
The spicy Korean fried wings were excellent! The spicy rice cakes were indeed very spicy and the sauce was flavourful albeit a little thinner than what I’m used to. Everything came out hot and fresh with very little wait. Salad and two spring rolls were served on the house which was a nice treat. Only thing missing was the standard complimentary kimchi (they serve at a cost) but it was actually ok because the fare wasn’t so “standard Korean” so to speak.
Well come...
