Lazy Bugs Bubble Tea — Restaurant in St. Catharines

This place used to be a great place to go to with my friends, yet now the service has completely ruined the experience.

Last night my friends went to this place and the service was incredibly slow! There were very few people in the place, yet we had to wait 15 minutes to be attended to for our orders, and my dish took 45 minutes to arrive and was the wrong dish (I ordered a Taiwanese-style dish on the rice, and I got a beef-and-broth dish with rice on the side)! The staff even took an entire hour before clearing a table full of dishes a group just left there!

When we complained and asked for a discount when we had to pay, the waitress did the most disrespectful and lowly thing I have ever seen any server do in my life; she genuinely tried to convince my friend group that the dish we order WAS Taiwanese chicken on the rice! She even showed us the dish I got (which was still as it was) and how it was chicken (clearly beef) on the rice (when the rice was on the side). She then claimed that she had called her boss about it and said the best they could do for us was give us a free drink coupon we could use later...

In short, this place offered the most slow, disrespectful, and racist service I have ever received in my entire life! Unless this place immediately changes all of their staff members from the ground up and hires people far more competent and humane to do their jobs, this place shall inevitably close down as it...

I went here with my boyfriend hoping for a nice relaxing space and drinks after driving 3 hours to visit him. I however was met with the very opposite of a relaxing environment. The prices seemed decent and they had a wide variety of drinks so we both ordered the brown sugar pearl milk tea and some BBQ pork buns and while waiting we decided to sit down at a table and chat. Behind us was a man talking very loudly is his language on the phone and I assumed that he was either family or a worker there since he occasionally yelled to the girl making our drinks in their language. Me and my bf could barely talk to each other over his loud voice. Another two guys came in the restaurant talking very loudly in their language to the other workers in the shop and one of them threw on an apron and started working at the counter. About 20 mins later he came out I was a bit disgusted as I saw him wipe his nose with his hand and then go to the back and grab our pork buns, I worried that he didn’t wash his hands or probably wasn’t even wearing gloves to serve our snacks so I just decided not to eat them. They gave us a punch card but it’s pretty safe to say we won’t be using it...

Worse experience I have had at any restaurant. Extremely bad service from the two workers on Saturday April 20th. I went with my girlfriend and we ordered bubble tea and food, I ordered chocolate warm bubble tea and when she brought it was a bit cold not warm at all. I told her and she said she will make another we thanked her and to our surprise she started complaining in her language speaking to her co-worker. She brought the bubble tea and we thanked her but after that we waited for an hour and they never served the food we offered. Other customers came into the store and were served food but they ignored us as if we weren’t there. We didn’t complain, just stood up and paid for the bubble tea. She pretended like we didn’t order food. Definitely not going back ever. Those employee need to understand what customer service is and not be rude...
