Horrible customer service...last night we traveled to this location as 4th ave is under renovation...i always order from marble slab as it great ice cream normally from 4th ave as the employees are so nice ,friendly and welcoming! The guy that took my ordered mixed the mix-ins wrong put all the mix-ins even the sause in the bottom and didn't even really mixs them together , then he wouldn't sell me sugar cones apparently they dont do that anymore even tho i got them last week and always order some one the side and when u place a order online(through skip..ext) you can🤔 but ok..when i went to give him my number to collect my points he didn't veryify at all my account and walk away well i was paying didn't give me the recipet. So i went back in got the receipt from the lady as my points didn't apply and she said it takes 24 hours..umm since when?🫤 And when i asked how i speak to a manager she said they dont have one and have no idea when one would be in. The guy who did my ice cream order in the beginning yelled at the group 4 people that walked in 25 minutes before closing telling them there is only 20 minutes left like ok? I get it they are busy...but when i waited till today to see if the points would apply and then called to see how to speak with a manager or supervisor the employee said the manager is on leave and supervisor wont be in till sometime next week🤔..thats awesome.. never mind you horrible customer service or the way these two employee didn't even care to acknowledge a customer who frequently come but can i have my points please.🫤 either way horrible customer service, hopefully i can see someone from management next weeks to get it fixed. 🤷♀️..ill stick to the 4th ave one as they clearly know what there doing💁♀️ and acknowledge there customers dont just walk away🫤

I was told to go back and when i went in this past monday and tried to use my points for my order of 40 pkus dollar it took all my points of 68 dollars the register froze and nothing would work after 20 minutes i left? i have emailed, texted and just messaged head office . Haven't heard anything back just want my points added back to my account please...
Read moreThis was our first Marble Slab experience and unfortunately it was NOT a good one. The young lady and young man working last night were not friendly at all, the lady sighed when we walked in at 9h15pm, clearly showing her dismay that they had to serve more customers. The shop closes at 10pm, yet the two individuals working last night were clearly ready to close shop early. All the chairs were stacked away when we entered and they told us to "hurry up" because they had already switched the slab off at 9pm and our ice cream will be a mess. A number of times they asked us to hurry. The ice cream was handed to us half melted and ice cream dripping off the side of the cups.
When my husband asked why we had to hurry and why the slab was off already, when the sign outside the shop clearly shows that the shop closes at 10pm, the young man answered that its procedure for them to switch the slab off an hour before closing time. This makes ZERO sense. Why stay open until 10, when you can't properly serve customers until 10?!? We later heard from a lady who worked at Marble Slab herself, that this is untrue and the slabs at other locations only get switched off 10-15 minutes before closing time.
The people who ordered before us were told they could not sit down (this was around 9h10pm) and the people after us came out of the shop very unhappy as well. They expressed that they experienced the same shockingly bad service. I won't comment on their experience, but our experience was awful and we will NEVER set foot in that Marble Slab location again.
Owners of this location should consider re-training their staff and hiring staff who actually want to work and serve customers...
Read moreI ordered a cake for my fiances birthday two days ago and talked to a young lady who told me it wasn't to late to order the cake and it would be ready the next day for his birthday. I told her I wanted a strawberrlicious cake with writing and extra mixins of pecans and chocolate chips and she said ok sounds good. I call the day of his birthday to go pick it up and they tell me there's no such cake around or even a note with my order. I was very upset so they offered to make it for me same day and said in approx 3 hours it would be ready, I re said my order to make sure they knew what I wanted and waited the 3 hours. I called back it still wasn't ready. After waiting like 4 hours and a little it was ready and I went to pick it up to then make it all the way back to welland after paying 16$ and cutting into the cake seeing they didn't even make the right flavor!!!!! They gave me raspberry sauce on top (which was fine) with a vanilla icream and grahm crackers (thinking they gave me strawberry shortcake, or strawberries and cream) . I'm very disappointed by the professionalism there I used to work at marble slab and that is unexaptable in my opinion. Will never ever go back there again.
