Came here for dinner tonight with my spouse and baby. We chose to wait for a booth which was fine, and waited roughly 20 minutes. After sitting down, we waited around 20 minutes for our drink order, 35 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and 45 minutes for our appetizer and kids meal, which were to come out together so our son could start eating. By this point, our son was not interested in eating and began getting upset. Our meals came out almost right after our appetizer, which we weren't done eating. The meat was fatty and tough, with giant chunks of white fat throughout, unchewable and most did not get eaten. Our sons meal went untouched minus a few bites of fries. I ordered a pickle Caesar and I didn't get the deep fried pickle it comes with until after our meal arrived and my drink was done (keep in mind, this is almost an hour after ordering) and the excuse was the kitchen staff wanted to prioritize meals which isn't my problem as a paying customer, especially considering it was dying down in the restaurant and no longer in a service rush. I ended up having to leave with my son before finishing my meal because he began crying excessively from being tired. My meat aside from being tough was also cooked very unevenly, I ordered a medium rare and it ended up being rare in the middle and outside of the direct center, it was more so medium well to well done. All in all, we still paid $70 after being "discounted" for a meal we didn't even get the chance to enjoy, as we left with our meals unfinished. Our time of arrival was just after 8pm and we didn't leave until 10pm. This was totally unacceptable in every way, and any other restaurant would have comped the meal in its entirety due to the continuous failures on behalf of the restaurant. Considering we came with a baby, you would think the service would be a bit better and they would want us to be on our way sooner than later. The couple that came in about half an hour after our arrival got their meal before us and finished their meal as we were getting ours. One of the worst restaurant experiences...
Read moreI've eaten at Montana's many times over the years but I have to say I think this was my last time.
Seating is extremely uncomfortable, I'm not sure when they updated their lighting but no matter where you look you have bright light bulbs shining in your eyes. I had to track down my waitress multiple times to get simple things like cutlery, napkins or a refill. I ordered a lunch combo platter which included a small soup, half sandwich and small salad. I ate the sandwich first and it small but was okay. I had their pot roast soup which tasted gritty and gelatinous at the same time, I offered it to my son and when I was giving it to him some of it spilled on the table, I had to tracked down the waitress for napkins (we'd already requested napkins that never came) I said I had spilled some soup so we may need a cloth. She told me she'd come when she could and then proceeded to go into the kitchen and yell at the kitchen staff that our table needed more soup because I had spilled it. Apparently the cook didn't understand because she needed to yell it at them three to four more times before coming out with more soup and no napkins or cloth. The waitress seemed very annoyed with me when I again asked for napkins and at this point she was not the only one annoyed so I pointed out that I had not asked for more soup but for napkins and she rolled her eyes. The salad was some greens with a half a cucumber slice, large onions and couple cherry tomatoes. My compaian had a burger and fries, he said the burger was good but very greasy and the fries were cold but would have been good if they were hot. Our bill came to just under $50 and that's not including the tip that I still felt...
Read moreI am not sure if the management or ownership has changed at this location but the quality of food has gone way down from what it used to be. My daughter and I visited the restaurant Saturday around 4:30. It was not very busy at all, maybe 6 tables were seated in the whole restaurant. We ordered our drinks and the loaded pull apart garlic bread as a starter. We received our drinks almost right away and our server took our dinner order. It took a little bit of time for our appetizer to be brought to the table and it looked great but it tasted like the bread used was frozen to begin with and just barely warmed up enough to not be cold in the middle. It was a little disappointing since we have had cheesy pull apart bread from here before and it was always very good. Once we were done our appetizer, we waited for quite some time for our mains. About 20-25 minutes later our server came to let us know our food would be out soon and they apologized for the wait. My meal was the 10oz steak with a herb butter topping and loaded bake potato. The steak was cooked properly I will say that however the garlic butter on top was a cold circle of butter and herbs. It was not softened in anyway and very difficult to spread across the steak as intended. The baked potato was not cooked all the way and looked like it had been sitting out for a few days. The “loaded” portion was a pinch of bacon bits and a few pieces of grated cheddar cheese. Definitely not worth the $4-5 extra I was charged. Our server was great, very attentive and kind. It was just the quality of food that was disappointing. Not sure if we will try again, I expected better quality for the money...
