We had a wonderful meal at Sideline Social Craft Kitchen & Bar. Rachel and Brock were our servers, but another gentleman helped out with our second round of drinks, but I missed his name. The wings were incredible... super crispy, hot and juicy. We ordered the lemon pepper dry rub, and kind of wished we had opted for the Buffalo Butter. After a day at Niagara Falls, I think we were in more of an Anchor Bar type mood. But, the wings themselves were amazing! I had the Oklahoma Smash Burger, with cheese, house-made burger sauce, two unctuous and crispy beef patties, with fresh lettuce and tomato. A side salad rounded out my meal, which feature super fresh, crisp vegetables and house-made balsamic vinaigrette! My wife had the ample Greek Salad with Shrimp that she thoroughly enjoyed, We both had the Great Lakes Blackout Stout, which, I rated superb on Untapped; and, I had a couple of rounds of Watne Gretzky's Red Cask Whiskey, which was outstanding -- he ages the whiskey in red wine casks left over from his red wine making! Fantastic stuff. All around, we had a great time; and, were impressed as much by the space itself, as were were with the excellent service and food. Hopefully, pictures will follow, as I don't have access to them on my PC...
Read moreDecided to give this place a try as I'd read good reviews and we're always on the look out for new local restaurants.
Very nice and super clean place. I particularly liked the confortable chairs. Can't stand hard wood chairs when I'm sitting there for an hour or two.
Service was spotty as a large group arrived while we were eating and we never saw our waitress again as she was busy with the large group. Had to find someone else to get our bill once we we finished.
Food was excellent! Noticably nice flavour in the smash burgers we had and their Jersey Shore Fries were also fabulous... crispy outside; light & fluffy inside - very fresh and nicely seasoned as well! I love that their menu is fairly small. That usually results in better prepared & fresher food.
It's not the cheapest place in town but considering you'll get a higher quality dining experience, it's good value overall. Next time I'll go during happy hour and save a little on the beer :)
Yes, we will go back mostly because of the better...
Read moreWent to dinner on November 2nd, 2024 The husband started with the greek salad, which is a large portion. The mains were the pasta with the bolognese sauce and the fish and chips( they also have sweet potato fries, onion rings, or salad if you want instead) Finished with the churros. They were big and were not over sweet as some I have had before. Have to say the food was amazing and the staff was patient and attentive. *Note that the parmesan cheese is fresh , in slices, and is served on top of the pasta. They will get you more if you want. The bathrooms were spotless and clean and the switch on the mirror is to turn the light off and on behind it. We will definitely recommend and will return. And yes, they do Sunday football !🏈 They also have a small room ( last picture) if you want to have a small...
