Pete's Pizza — Restaurant in St. Catharines

First ever review of my life. It was that disappointing. No prices online for the specials so I asked how much the 3 topping 24 slice was. He said $26. Because I have to get half just pep for the kids, I didn't think it was worth it, so I said just give me a 24 slice pep for pickup. He said 25-30 minutes. I arrived at the 26 minute mark prepared to wait if needed but it was ready. He said $25.98 was the total. I said "why didn't you tell me it was the same price as getting 3 toppings when I asked on the phone?" He said, "we are busy man." Then I get the pizza home, and it's barely warm, and overcooked. I had to reheat my pizza 5 minutes after picking it up on time. Very chinsey on the cheese as well; I could see the individual strands as there wasn't even enough for it to melt together. Petes used to be my go to place. Scott Street, pleasant Ave, Jerry's union house were all awesome. Was denied a refund when my sister who wanted only two slices came out with 2 whole pizzas instead. I explained to the employees that she made a mistake and may have ordered wrong because she has a disability. I was fine to pay for the one pizza but didn't need two and brought it back within 2minutes of her walking back to the car. They said it wasn't their fault and seemed completely comfortable to keep payment from someone who is on low income. The one employee felt offended because his brother is autistic. When i asked what he would do if this happened to his brother he basically implied he isn't reliable for his brothers action. Taking advantage of the vulnerable people is unethical. I feel more sorry for the employees brother and the employees that they behave and conduct themselves like this towards humans beings in the community. What in the humanity...

Tonight we ordered a chicken pizza with minimal toppings; and uncut due to my extreme (deadly severe) pork allergy; and wings extra crispy.

What we got? - a cut pizza, overloaded with toppings, and soggy wings. We decided to try and cut around the cuts, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt (as the guy was super nice).

Biting into my baby slices, I find a huge, soggy piece of sausage peeking out under the cheese. It's a really good thing a caught it so I didn't die.

It would seem this company doesn't want our business for some reason.

We tip. We are very polite. We ask for less than normal services, making us in many ways, the ideal customer.

If you have allergies, sensitivities, or preferences; my advice is to go elsewhere. This place doesn't need or want your business.
