After what I heard today, it was time for me to create a Gmail account so I can put my two sense in. Before I go ahead and start my rant, the staff here are Excellent! I love them all, and for those who have said negative things about them, not everyone can be pleasant and friendly all the time; especially with how demanding some of you are. The staff have always been respectful and polite and that's what matters. Now for the issue, today I was at the Esso and I overheard a conversation between two staff members. I can only assume the gentleman behind the counter was management of some sort. He sternly told the woman that "their times" (amongst other things) were disappointing. At any other store, or a fast food restaurant, I would understand this. However, Tim Hortons has never been known as a fast food restaurant. I've seen how hard and how quick this Tim's can move and I've spoken to the staff about the times and what their for and how they affect the business. From what I've gathered, is that this Tim Hortons no longer cares about Customer Service. Their only importance is getting through as many people as possible. Way to put a bad reputation on your staff first of all. Second of all, shame on you. I know you're not going to care about one review and you'll just attach another scripted and unintelligent response to it, but seriously, how do you sleep at night? You complain, make demands and then walk out. You didn't help, you didn't ask if they needed anything, you came to complain, period. If that's how you want to run things, so be it. At least keep things professional and out of ear of your customers. Have some respect for the people running your business because with out those wonderful people, your store wouldn't make any money. Happy Staff, Happy Business. Update I've now found out this man's name is Mike. Apparently no one likes him and he is as stated. He's a business man, not...
Read moreThis location is a waste of time. The staff has maybe 2 nice workers, the rest shout at you and are impatient. Every. Single. Time I go there, they are out of stock of something I order, stop serving food (yes, FOOD as they told me one time) at 8pm or completely get my order wrong. Today I order an iced cap and a pastry. The lady repeated it back to me, and yet they still made the complete opposite of the drink I ordered and I didn’t notice until I was driving away. Not to mention how overpriced Tim’s has become. $10 for a small coffee and a donut! I’m too frustrated to even go back. It happens every time, so you can’t blame it on someone being new. It’s just a lack of caring on their part to commit to doing a job well. I’m understanding but this is ridiculous. On top of all of that, they have 2 drive thru lanes and only utilize 1. No matter how busy. FYI for anyone visiting this location. Always use the main lane. If you wrap around, you’ll never be served they just ignore you and let 3 people ahead. Turns a 5-10 minute drive thru into a 15-20 min wait. All for a coffee. Definitely not the location I go to before work if I know I want...
Read more4/5 Patty and the morning staff are always pleasant, efficient and caring. Never been through and not asked how I am that day. Patty makes a point to remember me and my order, she's truly a delight and the reason why I keep coming back.
The evening staff need to be shadowing some day shifts to see how its done. There is a gentleman who often works nights, but never wears a name tag so I don't know his name. He hasn't once given me correct change when I've paid cash, doesn't understand penny rounding even though the computer should tell him how much to give me and is often overwhelmed with only 2 coffees and a bagel. Very scattered. And he never closes the register drawer after cashing me out, just so Management is aware. I know yall read this stuff. Maybe thats why he messes up penny rounding, because maybe he's not using the register properly? 6 and 7 round down, 8 and 9 round up. But he didn't understand what I meant.
Anyway, Patty and her days crew are amazing. Keep up the amazing work, dear. I appreciate your wonderful customer service and the way you conduct yourself...
