I usually come here during break time and this is the final straw where I have to say something. Never had any real difficulties with orders here until today. It appeared to be a full East Indian staff workforce. I ordered a medium double-double and sea salt wedges. I get to the window to be given a large double-double and nothing else until the windows closed on me. I had to knock on the window to let them know this was not my order until a minute later I was given my proper return. Firstly, the man at the window told me it was an XL double-double he gave me when he only gave me a large (which is already a mistake) so clearly he has little idea of the cup size differential. I've no idea if I even paid for someone else's order with that large coffee. The sea salt wedges eventually came and I went on my way.
Sometime later I swung by again in the evening on my way to school. All I ordered was a medium double-double. I get to the window to be greeted by the same guy offering me a large tea of some sort. What is going on. These people are lucky how unfortunately agreeable us Anglos still are. I held my tongue, nodded and left with my coffee they eventually had for me. I've never had this problem with any Tim Horton's ever while their were white Canadians working. If you're going to hire Indian immigrants, at least schedule them accordingly with whites to avoid such absurd incompetence. Otherwise don't hire them at all because they've no idea what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped to have dinner at that location after a long drive through the U.S. and Canada yesterday evening, since we were hungry and tired and we had two more hours ahead to drive North. We knew Tim Hortons as an established restaurant, Google was showing this place as āOpen 24 hoursā and we saw few people dining inside. We placed an order inside, received it with no issues, and started our meal in the dining area. A member of staff approached us 5 minutes later; not really sure if he was from Tim Hortons or Wendyās side as this place is operated jointly. He demanded us to leave the restaurant, telling us it is closed. We mentioned that it was shown as 24 hours, and he told us it is only for drive through but dine-in is closing, and requested us again to leave. We asked if we could stay for another 5 minutes to finish our meal and he declined. Even the ā1 minuteā request was declined and he kept telling us to leave immediately referring to āa policyā. We had to grab the remaining food, left the restaurant and went back to our car. I cannot eat while driving so we had to continue our dinner in the car, in the darkness of the Tim Hortons parking lot, while four homeless people were roaming around with their shopping carts. That was the first time for many years in Canada I saw such rude persistence in forcing clients out at the end of business day, and was shocked to see that in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Tim Hortons location is terrible. There was a group of teens there who knew staff members who weāre currently working, and some of the staff members who were on shift were just talking to them and ignoring the other people waiting inside the restaurant. I had to use the washroom, but since the door is locked, I needed a staff member to open it for me, but before I could get anyone at the THās attention with the promise to order something after using it, I noticed a family had gotten the attention of someone at the attached Wendyās location and was going to be buzzed in, so I walked into the washroom behind them.
The washrooms were terrible as well. At least one of the stalls had a large, business sized roll of toilet paper that was on the floor when I entered. The stall I used had an empty roll in the dispenser, so luckily there was a roll on the back of the toilet, but it wasnāt secure there and when the automatic toilet bowl flushed, the roll of toilet paper in that washroom fell on the floor. The last stall presumably had an empty toilet paper dispenser as well because the diaper change table was out and a roll of toilet paper was on it. This one was nearly empty though, so hopefully not too many people need to use the washroom before someone bothers to clean the washroom. Disgusting. If Iām in this area, Iāll steer clear of this...
