Gino's Pizza — Restaurant in Stratford

I ordered for delivery. I was told 40 minutes. I mean that's fair, I wouldn't expect better. An hour goes by I'm thinking I should call and find out what's going on. I'm told don't worry it'll be there in 10 minutes. Sure, I can deal with that. 20 minutes pass. Reluctantly I call back, I'm told my order was delivered to the wrong address. Ok, so what now?

Well it was contactless delivery. The solution was "we will go get it" and deliver it to you. Wait? What? You're gonna go get street pizza and bring it to me?

That's what they did, total time elapsed 1 hour 45 minutes. The pizza was cold (obviously from sitting on a porch or sidewalk) and the driver was short with me.

Needless to say I jumped in my vehicle. Returned the pizza and demanded a refund. I was awarded a refund and went on with my day.

The big take away here... they picked up my order from who knows where and for how long. And tried to deliver it to me as fresh.

I will NEVER EVER order from here again!

We came in at 11:15pm to order some pizza. We were looking at the menu and trying to decide what to order when the only employee came up to us and told us to please order quickly, as the store was closing soon. When I said to him, well the store closes at midnight, he said, "just hurry up and make a decision, because I'm here by myself." This was incredibly rude, ridiculous and also entirely uncalled for, as it was not that close to closing time. The entire restaurant had been cleaned up already, there was not even a place to sit as all the chairs were already placed on-top of the tables. We ended up standing outside awkwardly for twenty minutes to wait for the food. I do have to say the tandoori chicken pizza was really delicious though, I think this place is probably fine for ordering or...

It's a walk in pizza joint with a few tables. Pizza is fairly priced, staff are focused. Nothing sets them apart. They did burn my complimentary jalapeño poppers (so much so that they weren't edible) and still have them out (free garbage?) But my order was good (wouldn't get tomotoes on my salad again but the veggies were fresh otherwise!)and the staff offered to walk me to my car due to the 2 boxes and bag; worried about my falling. Very sweet. I arrived early for a preorder and they kept updating me on the wait time. Appreciate that! I didn't like this spot as a kid- the sauce, but I or Ginos has changed! Plus you can just...
