I buy for one! Buying for one in the Supermarket giants can become quite expensive. So shopping here makes a lot of sense. Even better because they stock local produce and products as much as they can. In fact I have found their produce fresher and there is so much less waste. There is quite a selection of dinners in the freezer made in house and the bakery is divine. Remember to bring your own bags. Phase 3 of opening, these guys have still managed to bring the best and fresh. Unfortunately, prices have gone up. I’m not sure what that is about. Great little place. Not so little they are part of a monopoly of restaurants in the area. That’s their stuff. I question the use of reusable plastic containers on take out. You are charged for these but it doesn’t appear as a separate item on your receipt. You cannot save your containers and get a refund from the The Little Green Grocer. You must download an app, scan, and request your refund from the supplier in Guelph! Otherwise they tell me that your money will be given to a charity of their choice. So they get the charitable tax donation receipt! It’s a bit like all of those gift cards you never use or Tim Hortons reducing the size of your cup of coffee and charging the same.
