Such a cute stop if you are in or passing through Summerland!

There is an adorable old truck and a tractor our 17 month old son loved exploring.

The couple that run the bakery are really nice and threw in an apple fritter with our to go order as "Dad Fuel" for my husband on our drive home. I snagged a couple bites and it is quite possibly the best apple fritter I've ever had.

They have a small fruit/veggie stand and also sell a variety of the summerland sweets collection (syrups, jams, etc.)

The bakery part has some indoor seating and a really nice patio. The washrooms were clea and it was overall a very inviting space.

Their coffee is delicious and the cinnamon buns and cookies are very good too.

They sell full pies to go baked fresh that are SO good. We tried peach and blueberry peach (I was super pleased with the mix - the blueberry didn't overpower the peach at all)

You can also find them at the Summerland market on Sundays.

We had several great visits and enjoyed every bite and sip. Looking forward to stopping in again the next time we are in...

We are in BC for vacation from Calgary. We stopped by Granny's today when we were heading back to Penticton from the Kangaroo farm in Kelowna. We stopped at Granny's because we thought it was cute and wanted to grab some fresh fruit. We were hungry so figured we'd check out the cafe as well as the fruit market. The place is adorable, the staff are friendly and it's just a lovely little place. We ended up getting sandwiches, pasta salad, and cookies from the cafe. The food was absolutely delicious. We spent the whole meal talking about how great it was. We went into the fruit market area and got some cherries (for a great price) and a freezie for our son. We spend just under $30 total on meals, fruit, cookies and a treat for our son. Everything was wonderful and totally worth what we spent. It would have been worth more. If we weren't leaving tomorrow am, we'd go back for more. I highly recommend this place. The food, the prices, the staff and the atmosphere...

Great place to just pull off Highway 97 at the peak of the Summerland hill and savor some true Artisnal treats.

Coffee drinks are a house blend from Lone Tree local roasters, brewed on a machine that is well dialed in. Treats range from cookies through Paninis, with plenty of options for bake at home too. This is a menu that has evolved over the years, with a loyal local following.

Two standouts from our visit are the Dutch Oven baked breads, and the fresh cinnamon buns. The buns have a delightful baked sugar crunch that really sets them apart. The breads, however, are worth the drive all on their own. The texture is phenomenal, and the crust is exquisite. Not to be missed.

Post Script: pick up a loaf of the Dutch Oven white, sliced, a be prepared to make the best toast you will ever experience. ...

Overhyped and overrated. Fruits are expensive. Fruit pops (ice cream bars) are expensive at $5.50 each. Tried their bumble berry pie and brownie which was highly recommended by other reviewers but found them to be ok, nothing exceptional. Both were pretty average. Vanilla ice cream served with brownie is from Chapman's, not sure why when they have foothills? Chapman's ice creams are not healthy at all. They have a separate fruit and bakery section. They sell foothills ice cream. They didnt even have 1 out of 6 flavors we asked. Service however was good, not bad. We stopped on our way to Penticton. Overall it wasn't worth the visit. Just an average fruit stand.

This was my favourite place to stop at during my trip to Summerland. Their whole menu looks so yum and if you get the chance, definitely try the brunch (which is only on Sundays - I think). I’m bummed I didn’t try the Pie Stuffed Waffles while I was at brunch but can’t wait to come back and try it! They also make really good iced coffee and bonus: if you’re looking for plant based options they offer oat milk. Their desserts / treats were also really good. The store has a wide selection of produce and goodies, so definitely stop in there and pick up some fresh peaches and Peach jam while you’re at it!
