Unfortunately, my review isn't going to be five stars due to unprofessionalism from their store manager --Mahair. I like studying at this place and also treating myself to a cup of coffee along with pastry. I love their staff members-- girls are always very friendly, and always greet their customers. Their tables appear to be quite small, so I typically move one of the chairs at an angle closer to me, this allows me to have laptop on the table and a textbook on the chair. One of the staff members asked me to move the chair back and take my textbook off. When I asked why, the staff response was because the chair is "the way"for the sitting area for the table that's nearby". Well, there's a lot to say... One, this is subjective if it abstracts the entrance, there was still enough space to move along. Three it's not my issue if this place lacking space for a customer. What if one of the customers wanted to move the chair and sit at the different angle? will they be dismissed?... Not sure here. Anyways, I requested staff that I'd like to talk to their manager, while he was hiding in the office, i waited for 30-40 mins and he never showed up. Read moreIt’s hard to find a coffee shop now days with baristas that smile, converse with you and serve quality food/coffee/tea. Being a business owner, I only support businesses that have great customer service. If I have a bad experience, they don’t do well the 2nd time, then I won’t go back. But Mahir (I am sorry if I got his name wrong) was amazing! So kind, happy, smiling, warm, friendly, informative & caring. He helped me redeem my birthday drink, he showed me the loose leaf tea I wanted, he joked and told me to drink the tea in 20 minutes (because it was so hot) but showed how caring and compassionate he is. You go to Tim Horton’s and they throw you a tea without a sleeve. I watched him be so polite and friendly to every customer that came in. It continually had customers coming in for the 45 minutes that I was there and I can see why. Even the young barista that came in was also very friendly. The coffee shop had strong wifi, clean, happy & happy customers. I was able to read peacefully in a cool, clean & calm environment and do my work. I can’t wait to come back to this location! Read moreReally disappointed by this location. I can't use my bcaa discount and the blendz app to get the points. My other location, I can. Especially since today was by a holiday drink and get 4x the points. Anyways I choose the discount and got a wrap and had to ask for her to use the bcaa discount on that as well. Didn't think I had too. Anyways already upset, I get my drink, which was so chucky on top and had to asked what it was showing her with the stir stick. She fixed it and was better. But as I'm eating my wrap, it's so dry and neglect to tell me that it was brought in and not made in store. All they do is heat it up. I told her i thought all your food was made here as your guys have a kitchen for that. And to her answer that they made toast in store. No wonder it was dry. The rice was rock hard and barely any chicken for the price. I asked for more sauce but all they could offer me was the mango chutney. Didn't think that would taste good with a chicken teriyaki wrap.
