Yummyslice Pizza — Restaurant in Surrey

I ordered from new new south surrey location. I put in my order on their website and happily waited. I recieved a call a short while later telling me she accidently refunded my pasta/ pizza because they didnt have the pop i had ordered and to order my food again.

I checked my bank and said no refund was being processed and the staff again asked me to reorder. I didnt want to reorder food that wasn't even refunded and she agreed they would make my food and deliver as planned.

I recieve a notification on website that my food has been delivered. I didnt have a knock at my door, a call or anything so I check outside. No food there either.

I call back to the resturant and they say they delivered it. And I mention they may have but not to me. My porch light was on. My address is clear. I mentioned what my doorway looked like. They talked between eachother and said they needed to figure out the delivery.

Shortly after I get a call from door dash who says they can refund or resend my food. Wonderful, but I didn't order from door dash but they say they can process it.

I wait again. Optimistic but honestly disheartened.

Then I recieved a call again that they cant resend my food and to... drum roll.. order it again.

I now await a refund from yummy slice which IS now showing processed but ultimately I won't be reordering.

2 stars for refunding me, -100 for breaking a girls heart tonight.

Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was outstanding — perfect taste with a fluffy, airy crust that was cooked to perfection. The pasta was also delicious, rich in flavour and clearly made with fresh ingredients.

The shop itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming — a great spot for dining in. It's also very kid-friendly, making it a perfect choice for family outings. Plenty of space, comfortable seating, and a relaxed atmosphere.

What really made the experience stand out was the owner — incredibly prompt, friendly, and genuinely helpful in suggesting some great pizza options to try. You can tell there's real passion behind the food here.

Suggestion to the owner: You have a great patio space in the back — it would be fantastic to have outdoor seating available in the summer to enjoy the food and weather. :)

When I first visited shortly after opening, the male staff member was kind and friendly. He didn't take my coupon and said I could use it many time, so I took a photo and showed it to the female staff member. She wasn't friendly and just told me to bring the coupon. I went home to get the coupon, ordered the pizza, and even paid the tip, but she never once said thank you or mentioned the wait time. She brought over a pizza that was either pre-made or a mistake from a previous customer's order, asking, "I made the wrong pizza, but is this okay?" When I told her I wanted my order made correctly, she said, "It's already made," and tried to push it on me. In the end, she said, "then, you'll have to wait another 10 minutes” without any apology or even a greeting. I was disappointed because I liked this place.
