Thought it would be a good idea to get a refreshing drink after doing the polar bear swim on New Years Day. Went in with my Christmas gift card and purchased two boosters for my girlfriend and myself.
At first I thought it was in my head when the drink tasted off but then I asked my gf she said the same thing. Both of our drinks tasted like a glass of room temperature milk with no taste of fruit at all. By far the worst booster I've had. The texture and taste were so far off.
I thought it must have been a machine failure or something so we went back. I put the drinks on the counter and explained what was going on, but the girl working there just told me "ThAtS JuSt hOw iT tAsTeS" and said she could make me another one if I paid again.
I went back to my car to grab my gf to come help me explain and when we got back to the counter she had already thrown away our drinks.
This experience ruined my New Years day. Would give 0 stars if there...
Read moreUpdate.......since I wrote my first review the service has been great!! The girl that works Saturday mornings now is always friendly and greets you when you come through the door regardless how busy she might be, she makes an effort. The smoothies are always made right and she is always cheerful and smiling...makes for a much more pleasant experience than the last girl gave!!! I did not have the same experience this morning with the girl working the counter. Not only did she not speak one word no please no thank you no anything she also doesn't smile. She seemed miserable. I felt bad so tipped her nicely cause she clearly hates being at...
Read moreI’m so very disappointed in booster juice at Peninsula Village. I looked online and it says that they are open until 9pm. This evening I stopped by there at 7:30pm to get a Carrot/Ginger juice. There was not one person in the entire store. I gave my order to the girl working there, and she then asked me if I could wait 15-20 minutes? 15-20 minutes? I asked her why? She told me that she was currently cleaning the pulp out of her juicer and it’d be 15-20 minutes. She then asked me if I wanted orange juice. If I’d wanted OJ; I’d have ordered OJ. I drove ten minutes to get a carrot/ginger for my mom who is very sick. I’m sure that cleaning juicer is part of the closing duties, but they didn’t close for 1.5hrs and my mom didn’t get her juice. Beyond...
