Went for breakfast on Mornings of July 1, 2023 (Canada Day)

As soon we entered we were told that we must place our order and we are not allowed to sit otherwise. I find this very rude and unprofessional.

If they don’t provide table service that is fine but to ask customer that you can’t sit unless order is placed is the first time I experienced in Canada.

Chaiwala of London must realize that they are not located in London UK but in Vancouver, Canada. This type of procedure may be acceptable to customers in London but not here.

We ordered Chai, Coffee, Omelette Bun, Desi breakfast, French toast and Aloo Partha (fried bread with potato stuffing)

Chai was the best among all the items we ordered followed by French toast ( not your regular French toast this one is spicy not sweet)

Chickpea in desi breakfast did not tasted authentic. Other items we just ok.

Size of bun omelette and Aloo paratha was so small that it was looking like kids meal, without toys.

None of the staff we encountered were courteous, not sure why? We were only second customer there and there seems to be more staff then customers at that time.

Restaurant ambiance very attractive, I wish if they focus on service and food as mush they focused on decorating...

The food and drinks were outstanding. The chai was perfectly brewed, rich in flavor and absolutely authentic. I also tried their famous Karak Chai, which was a delightful treat. The menu had a wonderful variety of options, from delicious street food to hearty meals. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavors and beautifully presented.

Special shoutout to the samosas and the Bombay sandwich – they were out of this world! The combination of spices and textures was spot on. It's clear that Chaiiwala takes great care in sourcing quality ingredients and preparing their dishes with love and precision.
