This brunch was a delight for the ur family of four. Two little ones and parents. We had to wait 10 minutes for our turn to be seated and the dining time was 30-45 minutes, which seemed less at the beginning but was enough to eat as much as we wanted as the idea here is to eat and not spend time chitty-chatting. It’s a well spaced restaurant with food items are arranged in right spaces but seatings need an upgrade and re-arrangement. Food: Choley/chana (chickpea curry) was good and our little kids liked it. Aloo (potato curry) was good too, though I would have liked potato pieces to be a little smaller. Halwa (Samolina desert) was delicious too with not too sweet taste. I would say it could have been kept in a hot case to keep it fluffy and soft then getting sticky. Poories (bread) were good, fresh though were a little oily probably because they were thin? I guess a little thicker poorie would be better? But overall, we enjoyed it ur food. Yogurt, onions, and green bell peppers were more for adults and we liked them as well. Masala chai was good. I should have ordered Cardamom tea though. Just a personal choice. We had a good time and we enjoyed each dish and their different taste and flavors. We would definitely return and would recommend it to others as well. What I wrote above are my personal choices, and may doffer from others, and probably others would love them for their individual food palette.

Best Pakistani breakfast buffet Trust Me!!! Halwa channa and unlimited puris. Amazing taste. They don’t just have affordable pricing but they cook and serve from heart. Its that tasty. I never thought I would be able to find halwa puri way better than Toronto but lucky me, I did. Guys this place definitely needs a visit. Interiors is fine. Comfortable seating. I revisited for dinner after my satisfied first experience. Chicken karahi was to the point. Winner was Matar pulao. What a taste. I just loved it. Naan is soft and yummy too. Just didn’t enjoy much was chicken kabab masala. Kabab wasn’t that well cooked that upset my stomach. So make sure its cooked well when you order. Otherwise I will definitely keep visiting specially for breakfast. I am yet to try their paya nihari🙂 So I tried their paya nihari☹️ the quantity was horrible. I first placed one order then asked them to add one more. When I opened the parcel it was clearly visible that they made 2 out of 1 by adding water. Spent 24 plus tax and even 2 people couldn’t eat decently. I called and complained, the lady said she will call back but never did she. The taste was fine but make sure they have enough available otherwise its not worth it. I hope they realise its not ok to add water to increase quantity.

I recently dined at Lahore Restaurant and wanted to share my thoughts about the experience. Overall, it left me with mixed feelings. First, let's talk about the atmosphere and customer service. The restaurant had an okay ambiance. It was neither overly impressive nor disappointing. The seating was comfortable, and the staff seemed polite, but the service was a bit slow. While it wasn't exceptional, it also didn't hinder the overall dining experience. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Goat Karahi, and unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming. I had expected a generous amount of meat pieces, but it fell short in that regard. The flavors were average, and I was left wanting more in terms of taste and portion size. The Chicken Biryani, on the other hand, was a disappointment. The spice level was so high that no one in my family was able to enjoy it. Additionally, the biryani was excessively oily, which further detracted from the overall dining experience. It's important for a restaurant to offer a variety of spice levels to cater to different preferences, and this dish missed the mark.

We were visiting some friends in Surrey, and I recommended we visit Lahori Restaurant as I like the food from that city/region. The reviewes seemed fine…

We arrived around 7:45 pm, and were not warmly greeted. Instead, we were immediately asked by this impolite waitress if we made reservations. We said “no”, but when we looked around the restaurant it was half full. My friend immediately said they must be closing soon. The same waitress took us to a table which was tucked away in the corner and difficult to access from the bench side. I literally had to squeeze in between this buffet table and our table. Once we sat down, we were asked again by another waitress if we made reservations. We said no. Then we were handed two menus for multiple people. I noted one menu had samosa and channa all over the inside page. A faux pas in the restaurant business. I didn’t want my guests to see this, so I decided to keep it to myself. The first waitress came by again and rudely asked us if we made reservations. At that point I was ready to leave; but being the polite person I am, I said no. And then she proceeded to ask if we are ready to order. We literally had two minutes to look at the menu!

On to the food; the samosa/channa dish was good. The fish pakoras and naan were fine. The biryani was not the best, seemed reheated, and was simply too over spiced (I’ve eaten biryani my entire life, I’m especially fond of the Hyderabadi style, but have also had Pakistani variations. Biryani should never be over spiced). I also didn’t see any saffron in the rice. It was one orangish color and seemed like the rice had been mixed with the meat base and then topped with onions and cilantro).

The meal was overpriced for the quality of the food, but the portions were decent size. My main issues were the poor customer service and the general cleanliness. Aside from the menu, the bathroom was not clean whatsoever; there was water all over the floor and cleaning supplies on the bathroom sink and floor. More importantly, if your restaurant is closing, then let the customers know so they can make a decision whether to eat at your establishment or not. We weren’t even asked if we wanted chai or dessert after spending over $100 and still leaving a tip! Rather we were rushed to finish our meal, and then asked if we could box up the food. As I was paying the bill and providing a tip, the lights were shut off despite all of us being inside. That’s unacceptable and no way to treat your restaurant guests.

Very disappointed and will not...

I would give this place a 0 star if I could. Terrible customer service. The food was good. But everything else was terrible. When our food first arrived, we had to ask for plates to eat in. We also had to keep asking for utensils. Not sure whether customers usually just dig in from the serving plates and eat with their hands? The waiters were surprised we asked for these basic things. At 9:30 pm on Saturday, we were told to leave. The waitress said, "we are closing". We asked her "are you asking us to leave" while we were eating dessert that had just arrived at our table. We were aware that their closing time was 10 pm, and were happy to be out of there by then, but didn't expect to literally be kicked out half an hour before that. She responded with "well I don't want to say it but ya" and began laughing and walked away. We tried to stuff ourselves with the dessert that had just arrived to try and hurry up so we could leave. She brought the machine for us to pay right away and shoved her hand right in front of my face to pass it to the person sitting next to me. And then breathed in my face (disgusting). We quickly paid and left, feeling disgusted and disappointed with our experience here. As we got up and began putting our coats on, they brought their broom and cleaning supplies to begin cleaning our table. The broom brushed against my friend's leg (gross). We understand that they dislike their place of work, but please have some human decency to give people some personal space, and treat people with kindness. Sadly we will not be returning, despite enjoying the taste of the food.

I would also like to add that there was no itemized receipt presented to us before paying. So we could not even check that they charged us correctly. The waitress just punched in a number on the machine and handed it to us to pay. We were too stunned to say anything and just accepted and paid. (Is...

Lahori restaurant is an incredible establishment that offers authentic Pakistani cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends.

The menu at Lahori restaurant is extensive and features a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. From their succulent lamb chops to their flavorful biryani, every dish is made with the freshest ingredients and expertly prepared by the talented chefs in the kitchen.

But what really sets Lahori restaurant apart is their exceptional service, and Tannu is a shining example of that. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing.

Throughout the meal, Tannu was attentive to our needs and provided excellent recommendations on dishes to try. She even took the time to explain the origins and cultural significance of some of the dishes, which added to the overall experience.

In summary, Lahori restaurant and Tannu are both truly exceptional. The food is outstanding, the ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Pakistani dining experience, I highly recommend visiting Lahori restaurant and requesting Tannu as your server. You won't be...
