COBS Bread — Restaurant in Surrey

I just had the worst experience with this store. I supposed to buy a Capeseed loaf this morning as my wife asked, but I bought a flaxseed loaf. I immediately realised this after I walked out of the door, within like 10 seconds, withing the eyesight of the glass door, I went back in asking for exchange, the lady coldly refused, it was like it's your fault, none of my business kind of attitude. I have to buy another loaf again. I think that everybody have similar experience when bought the wrong grocery would be horrified to be treated as mine with this store. I've been buying from this store for more than five years, but I will never go back again and I will make sure every friend of mine would do the same. This was my very first purchase at COBS Bread since moving to Canada, and it turned out to be such a pleasant experience. I picked up a Sourdough Loaf and a pack of Burger Buns, both of which were fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The sourdough had that perfect balance of tang and chew, while the burger buns were fluffy and held together so well.

I also want to highlight the service I received. Elaine, who assisted me, was such a lovely person—so warm, patient, and attentive. She took the time to answer my questions and made me feel very welcomed as a first-time customer. Her kindness really added to the overall positive experience.

Hi everyone this place should be your only place that you go buy bread from forget the big box stores go to your local cobs bakery and you want to know why cuz there the best not only in product but in service these guys got it down they got clean bread in other words no eggs in their breads no I hope they get no eggs in their pastry stuff soon I'm hoping so if we all complain and say come on get the eggless pastries we'll all be happier when I went in there no wait most of the time cuz as we speak it's only a two customer deal thing allowed in the store one time I've only had to wait like 5 minutes at the most in times of past so don't hesitate go get some really what you call fresh bread from these guys at all cobs...
