In the past 10 months we have had 3 dine ins and 1 take out. First was the take out which was late summer of 2022 and that's when we came to know about this new restaurant that opened in Langley. To be frank that first experience with the takeout itself hooked us on to this place. The next 2 dine in was also amazing. the quality of food is really good and the spice level, texture, crispiness is always really good and upto our expectations and desire. All previous 3 visits we ordered for the Kerala pepper Beef Fry and was always out. Now coming to my most recent visit which was on Friday April 28th to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday just 4 of us. We reached there around 7:40pm and the place was almost packed and I was happy that they are really busy which shows the acceptance of their food. We got seated immediately, there was skip the dishes and doordash all lined up for pickup. We were seated in a corner which was nice and outside the busy main seating area, almost 15 minutes passed after being seated and served with water and the menu card, our waitress went to another table to take the order, those people came in 10 minutes after us. seeing that I immediately raised my hand and let her know we were here 10 minutes earlier than them, those customers were also polite enough to acknowledge that. That waitress came to take our order and apologized for not coming to us earlier. I told her we understand that you are busy but it has to be fair and square. We ordered our appetizer and main all together so as to avoid any delay or confusion. Order was as follows: Medu Vada - 2 serving - Excellent Fish Pakora - 1 serving - Excellent Golgappa - 1 serving - Excellent Chena Battura - 1 serving - Excellent Kerala Beef Pepper Fry (comes with rice) - 1 serving - Not up to our expectation but still we liked it. Paratha - 2 pieces - Very Good Beef Biriyani (for my birthday girl - she orders biriyani all the time) - Good (my personal opinion cause I have never had an amazing biriyani from any restaurant in Canada or US - Our home made Biriyani is always the best) Mango shake - 3 - Excellent Madras Coffee - 2 - Excellent - They didn't bill us, we will pay on our next visit Rasmalai - 1 serving - Excellent Kingfisher beer - 2 Overall it was a 5 star experience all the 4 times we had food from their. Even with slight bit of confusion on the delay and order taking process which is totally understandable - being that busy. Kudos to the owner I believe he is a South Indian and that shows on all the vegetarian dishes. Keep up the excellent customer service and the high quality of food. Special thanks to the girl in the counter for remembering us from the previous visits and reminding us that they do serve halal meat upon request. Try and include Kerala Toddy shop style beef fry - little more dry with coconut pieces, curry leaves, green chillies etc.... All in all very good. I rarely post pictures...

Dhaba Dosa Review Had a fantastic experience at Dhaba Dosa! The dosa was one of the best I’ve had—crispy, flavourful, and perfectly made. Dhaba Dosa – A Delicious South Indian Treat
I recently visited Dhaba Dosa, and I have to say—it exceeded all expectations! From the moment the food arrived, it was clear that this place doesn’t hold back on flavour or quantity.
The dosa was an absolute standout—crisp on the outside, soft inside, and served piping hot with a range of tasty chutneys and sambar. Honestly, it’s one of the best dosas I’ve had in a long time. You can tell it’s made with care and attention to tradition.
But the real surprise was the Chettinad Chicken—rich, spicy, and full of depth. The balance of spices was spot on, with that signature South Indian kick that hits just right. It’s definitely a must-try dish if you enjoy bold, authentic flavours.
Portion sizes were very generous, making it excellent value for money. Whether you’re going in hungry or sharing with friends, you won’t leave disappointed.
The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. All in all, Dhaba Dosa is a hidden gem for anyone craving flavourful South Indian food with hearty portions. Can’t wait to go back and try more...
Read moreBeen here twice till now. Consistently Great food so far and Great service. Their quantity and quality is awesome for the affordable price and the taste quality is simply yummy. The quantity thing is simply at least twice the quantity of other places in Surrey - just the size of their togo box speaks it all.
Have tried their dosa, idli/vada, biryani (with paneer 65 and vegetarian), garlic naan, bhindi sabzi, masala chai, mango lassi, gobi manchurian.
Their sambhar is great - has a tamil nadu style flavor to it. Love their red chutney (tomato/ginger flavor), and their coconut chutney - they taste great. We got the Ghee roast dosa and the mysore masala dosa. the ghee roast was crispy and yumm. The masala chai was also simply awesome - creamy and with just the right amount of flavors. the bhindi and the garlic naan were also awesome. i think we ll end up eating the leftovers for the next couple of meals at least (for a family of 3)
Weekends, they have a special hyderabadi dum biryani - but only chicken flavor and not vegetarian - which bummed me big time - since i went there specifically looking for this. I am yet to find a good "dum" biryani - that actually tastes at least close to a biryani all around mainland(places in Burnaby/Coquitlam/Surrey). (All other places so far put vegetables and basmati rice together, with maybe some garam masala/curry powder and call it biryani. thats just vegetable rice people :( i would call it my only pet peeve of BC so far - the inability to find a good biryani) Their regular vegetarian biryani comes way closer to an actual Biryani than everyone else's i have tried so far. And thats saying something - considering my pet peeve and all. So if only, they had a veggie hyderabadi dum biryani... oh sigh.
Am pretty sure we ll be repeat customers every weekend. Looking forward...
