I ordered cake for my friend’s birthday almost a week before and I showed them a picture and asked if they can make same cake . They agreed and I asked for the pickup at 1 pm . On the day of pickup , I called them just to make sure if cake was ready and it took them 15 mins to remember that I ordered cake and they said it will be ready by 2:30 pm . We went there at 2:30 pm for pickup and they asked us to wait for 5 minutes and it took them 1 hour more . I don’t know his name but the person who was making the cake was constantly showing me that in hurry he did this thing wrong and he said usually cake pickup is by the evenings . Well , we were having more plans and it was totally stupid of him that he was making his suggestions without being asked . Anyways, we waited and they showed us cake it was typically looking like “A cheap copy” . The reason was that they started prepare when we were already there waiting for the cake and that person started arguing with me that it’s just a picture but it was cake picture from a bakery itself . I had a bad experience ordering a cake for delivery. The bakery has Door Dash as a parter for delivering the orders. I had placed the order which went through & the payment was charged for the cake & delivery three days ahead of the event. When I made call to confirm the order a day before, staff from the bakery told me that they are having some technical issues & warned me that the order will not be delivered on time. They are telling me this when I am making a call, moreover when told to refund, they simply didn’t take any responsibility & directed me to talk to Door dash rather. It took me 30 minutes after being transferred from one Representative to other to make my case clear. Even after this, it’s going to take 7 business days to get the refund. I am very disappointed with the Merchandise for such an unprofessional behavior, which will again make me to go through the ordering process again. The staff at this location is extremely rude and their customer service is not acceptable at all. We have tried ordering few special cakes in past 6 months and they are making a same lame excuse that their cook is out. If you know your cook is going away for such a long period of time, why don't you arrange someone to cover his shift. After 10 attempts they finally agreed to make a certain cake and on the day of pick up our birthday girl was sick. Mother was busy taking care of the baby so she was late for pick up. The employee called her and literally yelled at her saying that she was suppose to be coming for pick up. We drove there immediately and wanted to talk to the person who was over the phone. The lady agreed that she was the one calling, refuse to talk further, bang on door and left the store. Omg i have never seen some one so rude working in customer service.
