Went last week and the man with the short dark hair who appeared to be the manager or owner was talking on and handling his cell phone when I walked in, when I ordered, and proceeded to continue to talk and touch his cell phone while preparing my food. I had ordered for my daughter and I. This was disgusting, not only touching his cell phone and my food (no gloves worn...), but talking on the phone too...highly unsanitary. I could not allow my child or I to eat this food he touched with unclean hands. When my order was ready the girl that was now at the front was about to give me my order, but I asked her if I could speak to him, I told her why and she went to the back and told him and he wouldn't come out to talk to me, but told her to make my food again. He remained out of sight. I decided to give second chance tonight, (I was hoping the manager wasn't working), but when we walked in he was at the cash register with his hand in his mouth trying to pick something out of his teeth. I went at this branch yesterday(dec 20,2023 at 6:30 pm- pls check those 2 guys on duty espcially the one who has short hair-without a turban), and they made me feel like I am not wanted at their store, especially this one guy who I’m surprise was still here. I ordered their promo combo, and i felt like they dont want me there,. And he gave me a smirk silly look(without a turban and older than the other guy)..which makes you uncomfortable,,.and they should serve with all their heart smiling and engaging in a nice way, and not ostracised you just because you ordered a promo stuff which probably make their life a bit difficult, and slim profit..just saying, and this store in 18655 fraser highway needs a bit of proffesionalism, (staff) if they want(owner)to thrive in this busenness..check the manners of yoir employee as this is not the first time i encountered this..not going back to this store..Paging the owner..if you care about your buseness..your employees dont care whether a customer will come back or not..or maybe they dont, so that fewer customers for...

Tough review to write here mainly because the food was really good. If you don't really care about customer service and just care about the food, then go here. But if customer service really matters to you, this is where I took stars off. I'm not expecting a handshake, massage and cocktail with an umbrella in it. But a simple hello, thank you, bye, or hell, even tell me how much my order costs. Yes, I can read, but again, how about a tiny sliver of customer service. On my way out, I made it a point to say thank you very much and have a good night, just to see what I would get in return. The guys turns his back on me haha. I was there at 9:43 pm tonight, April 30. Check your staffing and maybe use it as a coaching moment. Or, don't, if that's not something that matters to your brand and your company. Again, let me reiterate, the sandwiches were great. Spicy Mary and Nashville Mary, both were very tasty. If not for the lack of personality and customer service, this would have been a 5 star review.
