Girlfriend went to this location recently with a friend. Enjoyed it very much. My first time at this location with her. I’ve worked in kitchens before and there were many red flags. She ordered 1989 burger, and remarked that it was very wet. Dripping with meat juice (fat and grease). I ordered black and blue wagging burger, mine was much more wet, but o the point that my plate had a puddle of meat juice grease, that was soaking my half fries. We both ordered half fries half Caesar. The Caesar for us both didn’t fill the bowl it was in. Not just low portion but looked like it was put together too long ago, since it was drowned and no longer crispy. My Caesar also had the heel of the romaine lettuce in it. That’s usually a big no no. Heal of lettuce is usually small and too dense to use. It can rarely be cleaned properly, which is why it often isn’t used. Because the burgers were drowning in juices (if you are using a grill, most of this is burned off or drained) it tasted bland and gross. It basically washed away most of the blue cheese on mine. Low quality, clearly corners cut on preparation or laziness. We called manager over finally for none of that, but when the mice started to appear. It was close to 9-10pm (which is near closing time), and we started seeing mice running around. Watched them jump up into booths, there was clearly a whole between two booths and they’d run in and out of there. The manager was sitting there talking to us and I was pointing. There were at least 4 different mice and they were running into each other like they were playing not a few feet away from us. Even the manager didn’t want to look over cause she was grossed out. Yet they still seated us over there, and we payed a premium. Couldn’t drink my water because there were 2 fruit flies in it, and we were on the other side of the restaurant away from kitchen or bathrooms. These are major red flags. The manager said she comped us for the appetizer (spinach dip. Which was meh. Warm, not hot.). We were not even trying to get free things, just concerning how much flies and mice were around, and how bold they were. When we got up to leave, mice (plural. 2) ran past my girlfriends feet. It was honestly too surprising to even be mad about. I was like “the food was okay, but the red flags… I don’t think we’ll be coming back to this location”. It’s not a reflection of all Milestones. I’ve been to good ones, this was not one of those. Wish I had the presence of mind to take photos of the mouse circus. Literally never seen mice so brazen as to run past your feet. There were mice less than two feet from us as we were talking to the manager. That indicates an infestation if they are that bold. We were not the only people seated in that area either. There were at least 5 booths and a large party in tables nearby. Nice we’re probably scrambling to get food droppings, but that is not acceptable. Not looking for free things or to complain just to complain. But I wish we were warned. It was really gross. Food quality and preparation alone I would have given 1-2 stars as it was. Mice circus was ridiculous to the point where I was upset anyone even allowed us to be seated...
Read moreI visited this location with my family on August 19th for a family celebration.
We ordered pasta with garlic toast and were unaware that the garlic toast was extra. The garlic toast came burned and we sent it back. We were offered a replacement.
We also ordered a burger to share with the kids. I noticed a crunch on the beef patty but thought it was the way the burger was made. I was wrong.
My daughter pointed out that the meat was burnt, so we sent that remaining portion back and was offered a replacement. To all this we thought that the replacements were complimentary. Wrong again as we later found out on the bill.
The bill comes in and we check it. First surprise, the garlic toast was charged. Also the burger was charged and the replacement dish (we ordered some wings as a replacement for the burnt burger).
We requested to see the manager Chris who came to our table with not a good attitude.. We explained on the garlic bread (which was removed). On the burger he did not remove it as he said we ate it. Also on the complimentary dish (wings), he did not remove it from the bill.
His explanation was that they don't give away food. We explained that the waitress did not explain to us that the replacement dishes were not complimentary.
My wife talked to the waitress again before we left to voice our frustration. We called Chris again and explained that we were loyal customers on a special celebration and that we did not like the way we were treated. Our 8 year old daughter was upset and did not feel good that night.
The manager (Chris) was rude and that is not the way to handle the situation nor treat customers. We were not there to take advantage of the restaurant, but were treated like that. If we would have known the right information on the complimentary dishes or the policy on food returned to the kitchen, we wouldn't have ordered extra items from the menu, on the assumption that they were complimentary.
It was a very sour moment that spoiled a special evening, which started on a OK note, since we were there before on other occasions.
At the end the manager (Chris) apologized, but not with a heartfelt apology. He apologized because he had to save face.
If I could rate this location at 0 stars or less, I would surely do. Remember that you are in business because we go and spend our money in your...
Read moreThe manager reached out to me after seeing my review I posted 2 months ago. The manager was very approachable and professional. I was sincerely grateful that I was able to go to milestones again with my husband with a gift from the manager. This time I ordered 12 oz NY steak medium rare with grilled veges and yam fries, and my husband ordered burger and fries. Wow what a difference this time ! The steak came juicy and soft and it just melted in my mouth. Chimichurri sauce complemented really well with the steak bringing up that smokey meat flavor that I love. My husband was super impressed too after a bite and regretted not ordering the steak. He gave me a bit of the burger to try but I don't remember how it tasted because the steak was just too good. I'm looking forward to having many more steaks in the future from here.
(The original review from 2 months ago) The bottom line here : DO NOT ORDER STEAK My husband and I went yesterday to celebrate our birthdays. We ordered coconut calamari and veggie tempura for starters, 8 oz steak and fries, and chicken mushroom spaghetti for the main. Starters tasted alright (but what can go wrong when you fry anything?), but the steak was SUPER disappointing. My husband ordered medium-rare but the steak came well done (to the point the meat was stiff and tough). 8 oz steak was the size of my fist because it was shrunken up so much. Our waitress never came to our table to check how our food tasted. She came only briefly to give my husband another glass of coke without saying anything or making eye contacts. We didn't bother making a fuss over it but we will never go here to eat steak. If I knew they are terrible at steak beforehand, we would have gone to the Keg instead. They have wayy better service and they know how to cook steak. Oh the cream spaghetti tasted good and their fries were pretty good too, so I...
