I usually have a great experience at this location but today's encounter was far from it. I ordered through the app, so I received a notification when the pizza was out for delivery at 440pm. (I requested the pizza for 445pm and I live a 5min drive from this location).
So about 455pm I give them a call as my pizza still hasn't arrived. Another 3 minutes they said, I thought it was weird doing any other deliveries first as I live so close. Then I receive a call through the driver he is at the first building. (I put in the notes the entrance being on 105 and to come to the last building).
He then sits and argues for me to come find him with limited information besides he is at the first building. I say I don't live there and I live at the other building. (The 1st building is a completely different address.) I tell him I will be able to see him as I'm on my patio so he needs to come to the second building. At this point my pizza is 25minutes from leaving the location in guildford.
When I receive my pizza he is still rude and shows me my note which was cut off. Then after sitting down I take a bite and it is barely warm. So I call the location back and complain. They did barely anything. $51 for pizza being a single parent is something I can't do often.
Pretty sure this place has new management and they SUCK now. Won't be ordering from here again and will order from a different location...
Read moreAs a frequent customer of this pizzeria, I was excited to try their Thin Crust Pizza in an XL size yesterday. I have always loved their Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks, as I mentioned in a previous review, and decided to try something new this time.
I went for the well-done baked option and created my own pizza by adding my favorite toppings. While the pizza was nice and had a slightly thinner base than their regular pizza, it wasn't as thin as I expected. Also, it was not as well-baked as I was hoping for. Perhaps, the baking time and style may vary from restaurant to restaurant. I was expecting a slightly crispy and toasty crunch on the base due to selecting the well-done option, but unfortunately, it didn't have that texture.
Despite this, the pizza still tasted great. The toppings were fresh and delicious, and the cheese was melted to perfection. While it was not exactly what I was expecting, it was still a nice change from their regular pizza, and I enjoyed trying something new.
Overall, I would recommend giving the Thin Crust Pizza a try, especially if you're a fan of thin crust. Just be aware that the baking style may differ from what you expect. And of course, don't forget to order their amazing Garlic Parmesan...
Read moreI read about the shaqaroni pizza, so I wanted to give it a shot and stopped in to place an order for takeaway. Extra cheese and extra pepperoni on an extra large pizza. I wanted to add mushrooms and was charged an extra $5.00, no big deal. However, when I got home I could see through the "extra cheese", the ad said over 60 pepperoni on this badboy... So, I called to inquire why I only got half the amount of pepperoni and no extra cheese? The young lady told me it was because I added mushrooms to the pizza so I didn't get extra cheese or extra pepperoni even though I paid extra to have mushrooms added? I am so confused. Nonetheless, I am so disappointed that I am not going to recommend ordering pizza from Papa John's to anyone. Great way to change a happy mood to feeling bamboozled. I should have just ordered from Elvis Pizza and so should anyone who doesn't want to get bamboozled....
