recent visit experience I take back some of my previous comments. Hopefully it was just a one-off. The Caesar salad was absolutely disgusting tonight. Soggy, warm, and completely drenched in dressing. Their sliders are a complete waste of money at $16 for two mini pressed patties and a three-dollar up charge for a side Caesar salad. The wings were good as always - so that sort of saved it all.
But something's up with either their pop or hard liquor. The white rum and Pepsi was either a very weak syruped pepsi, or definitely not captain Morgan white rum. It was so watered down that I could barely taste the rum - and I even had a double! But the kicker was that after two drinks, I asked for a regular pepsi to cut down on any more alcohol. Upon getting my bill.....a $4.50 ish charge for the Pepsi. Wtf Really?? Gimme a break. Let's hope that was just a mistake and not a normal price gouge practice! Hopefully next time will be better. But that's definitely one strike and I'm not even sure if I'll give them 3.
It's a little dated and tucked away in a shopping plaza, but it has a decent enough vibe to it most days. It's clearly western-themed. They have good specials and pretty much all of the food I've tried has been decent, especially their wings. Great Caesar salad too! And the servers are all pretty good. A little rough around the edges, but that's the kind of place it is.
And I'm only speaking for the non nightclub experience. That's usually Friday and Saturday nights as far as I know and we stay far...
Read moreWent here a week or two ago and their GM was walking around talking to people without a mask. The menu can be pretty good depending on who's cooking, though my usually made-to-order crispy jalapenos were inedibly stale and I found out they were made 2 days prior. My main concern though is that if the General Manager doesn't take the pandemic and its appropriate safety measure seriously, how am I to expect the rest of his staff to be taking it seriously either? I am disappointed. I may be back after the pandemic but I think I'll avoid this place till then.
Edit: If I didn't see it, I wouldn't have said anything. Though you wore it a majority of the time, you were talking to your staff by the end of the bar with no mask on, and as far as I'm concerned there's no excuse to be taking it off to talk to people for any length of time if you're concerned with the safety of your guests and staff, whether it's muffling your voice, or you're wrapping up your shift and you just want to touch base with someone for a minute, or any other reason. Particularly if you are setting an example as a leader. If we want restrictions for businesses to be lifted sooner instead of drag on, we should all treat our potential to spread the virus very personally. Act as though you have it. I could go on, but a list of precautionary measures means little to me if masks aren't being worn properly. They're a...
Read moreFirst half of the night was AMAZING, our server, Bubbles, was on point! She didn’t miss a beat. She was happy, nice, tentative and our cups were never empty. We settled up with her around 930 as we wanted to switch to the other side of the restaurant to join in on karaoke and so bubbles could end her shift.. Giving 4 stars only because our second server of the night was exceptionally rude to the group of 7 of us for the 3+ hours we were there. We sat, waited15+ minutes for service as she pretended we didn’t exist. Finally we went to the bartender and ordered. Well that was a bad call. The server then scolded us, not once but multiple times throughout the night making comments and such. She treated every single one of us like trash. Not sure if it was an off night or what but I’ll for sure go somewhere else if I am stuck with that server again. Near the end I even tried to talk to her (as I’ve been in the industry for 19+ years and was the sober DD driver of the night) and she just abruptly walked away from me mid sentence. I hate to write bad reviews but when I’m treated as poorly as I was last night for absolutely no reason other that “she didn’t want anymore customers” it...
