I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this Subway location on 14th Feb 2025, at around 10:30 AM. I ordered a Veggie Subway and specifically informed the staff, including the manager Jasvir, that I am a vegetarian and prefer eggless sauces. I made it very clear right from the start that I wanted a completely vegetarian sandwich.
Despite my clear instructions, the staff’s behavior was unprofessional. Jasvir (the manager) made faces while preparing my sandwich, which felt quite disrespectful. Still, I trusted her to follow my request. While eating my sandwich at the outlet, I realized that she had added a pork patty to my Veggie Subway!This was deeply disturbing because I have never consumed pork or egg in my life due to my dietary restrictions and religious beliefs.
When I confronted her, she smiled and casually said sorry, refunded my $6, and made a new Veggie Subway. Such a response is completely unacceptable for such a serious mistake. Being a manager, how could she fail to respect such clear instructions and dietary preferences? This is not just a small error—it is highly offensive and insensitive to someone’s lifestyle and values.
Additionally, I was not provided a bill for this order, which makes it harder for me to escalate the matter. I am extremely hurt and disappointed by this experience. Such negligence at a well-known chain like Subway is shocking. I hope appropriate action is taken to prevent such incidents from happening...
Read moreYes this place can be busy at times and you may have to wait in line. But honestly ever since king george and 64th location closed, this location has gotten busier as a result. But honestly, that is just the reality, they can't ask people not to come.
And you can see the staff trying their hardest. Whether it is through the pace they move, the speed they fulfill each order....you can see that they are trying. Ive been to other locations where the staff cant care any less about getting through orderd quickly and efficiently. They could have 10 times more lineup outside and they still wont care, instead would resort to chatting or work very slowly so people would just leave out of frustration. Ive experienced that first hand at many other locations.
The only thing I would recommend is maybe greet the person waiting on the side ( as you are not required to be in the regular lineup) for their order through doordash or uber eats so that the person knows that they have been acknowledged and will be tended to shortly.
