I found this place by mistake. But wow was it ever the best mistake of 2021. It’s a 10 out of 10 for food and 10 out of 10 for polite staff that care and really make there food with love and care. Real attention to detail. They use tandoori pre marinated chicken in there butter chicken not just plain boiled lazy chicken. There butter Chicken is spicy and a little sweet unlike some of the hot tomato soup places i have tried. There pakora’s are moist and fresh made to order unlike some place that taste like day olds that have been double fried and come out hard as a rock and cold. Their Chutneys are all made from scratch and very flavour packed unlike some places thst taste like they came in a bottle. There Nans are huge and not to heavy but very filling. Almost twice the size of some places. There food portions are huge for the price. 10 out of 10 for value. Now i know this sounds like a great review i went their twice before writing it and it was on point both times. And a month apart. I use to live in surrey. And had several places i would go to that were all 6-7 out of 10 for taste and that all i care about is taste really. Last year i moved to Whiterock and have tired 13 places here and south Surrey they have been hard 4’s in flavour. Some were very fancy and great staff and ambiance etc but that’s no substitute for flavour. It’s well worth the extra 10mins drive on top of the 15 i normally do to go to a Whiterock Indian cuisine. well...
Read moreSharing for a friend. Bought fish pakora from this place for a couple years, normally paid $15.75 with taxes for 2 pounds. Unfortunately recently went into the shop to get the order. The owner was there and was told picking up 2lbs of fish. He went to the back and it seemed a new girl was working because she didn’t know how to use the terminal machine. Someone came to help & now charged $16.80. Instead of being charged $15 plus gst, charges were $15 plus HST. Should have questioned them then. Next, food was handed over & specifically asked is this 2lbs?( it felt so light), girl replied yes. After leaving & opening, noted right away it didn’t look like 2lbs. Put it on a scale & it was a pound less! If taken out of the container, it would be even more lighter. Contacted the shop & went through few people before owner gave excuses as to why it was lighter. They cut & batter the fish until it weighs 2lbs then when put in container, the air escapes. The most terrible excuse, when batter is added to anything it naturally weighs more. Very upset owners didn’t apologize & instead of saying sorry, please pick up the rest of your order they tried to shift the issue. Lost a customer and others. Unfortunate having to give a review in order...
Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place is a hidden gem for food lovers! I tried their kulcha cholle and was absolutely blown away. The kulchas were soft, buttery, and perfectly cooked, while the cholle had the perfect balance of spices and richness. Every bite was full of flavor and felt authentic.
The presentation of the food was fantastic, and the portions were more than satisfying. I also loved the little extras like the tangy chutney and fresh onions—they really elevated the dish.
On top of that, the staff was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They took the time to ensure everything was perfect and even gave us recommendations on what else to try. The service was quick, and the cleanliness of the space was top-notch.
The ambiance added to the experience—it’s a cozy and welcoming spot where you can enjoy great food and relax. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to...
