This is our third year staying at Rivergrass. This year we booked the same condo as last year. We like the area as it is just outside of Blue Mountain in a quieter location but still less than a 5 minute walk to all the attractions. This year there were a few issues that I would like to address in hopes there will be some improvements for future vacationers. Check in was easy and simple, I had prepaid everything so they had our key code and fob key ready. We drove to our condo and we noticed that in a years time the condo seemed to have go down hill. We noticed a hole in the wall right when you walked in the paint on the living room wall was peeling off. Then the bathroom by the door the toilet seemed to be clogged, so much so it overflowed right when we arrived so we grabbed the few towels available and mopped up the floor. My husband found a plunger and plunged it and it seemed to work better, so I am guessing the people before us must have done this, or the cleaning crew. Thankfully there was a wash machine in the condo so I was able to wash the towels. We paid for two nights for 4 people and they only had 6 towels, so I had to rewash, then in the main bedroom the pillows had no pillow cases on them so the pillows had visible sweat stains.....GROSS! I am shocked for the price they could not afford more towels and linens. Then when walking to the pool and back we noticed that our door was not locking after we left.....this did not happen previous years, so we drove to the main office to inquire only to be told that this is normal and the doors are on a timer, they lock 15 minutes after....WHAT???? We drove back which was over 15 minutes since we were gone, the door was still unlocked. My son finally figured it out that the latch was not turned right.....so not sure why we were told this because once we turned the latch it locked right away. The nice thing about the place is the pool (when its not crazy busy), it is such a nice area, and they keep the grounds well kept, but the condo itself needed some TLC. I think if we stay in this area again we may look elsewhere as that was a lot of money to spend with all these extra things that we shouldn't need to deal with when...

Read moreVisited on the weekend with my husband, we booked Village Suites and stayed in the Grand Georgian. We booked for a relaxing weekend getaway. Upon arrival the staff were very kind and helpful, we were able to check in a bit early because our room was ready. The staff all over were busy cleaning the floors from the never ending winter mess. We had a room issue initially and used their text communication system (which was very convenient) The staff were so quick to mediate the internal error. The location is central to everything, we've really enjoyed having the village right outside our hotel doorstep. Our room was clean and the view of the mountain and pool area was great! Our suite was fully stocked, didn't need to bring anything except our clothes which was very convenient. We used the free wifi and didn't have any issues during our stay. We are very happy with our stay and choice of weekend because it wasn't too crazy busy. It did get busier on the Saturday night, lots of people running in the hallways late at night.
The only reasons I couldn't give a full 5 star is
