It's okay. You know the usual. Love the lunch menu. Drinks a little to pricy. All in all a decent place to go if you want a great menu, friendly staff and an all round good atmosphere. Dining can be a tad cold so keep that in mind (not the food, food is delicious). A plus is they have a great wine selection and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and what they have to offer as a business. The owner is a very personable man, he is very kind and interested in the patrons that visit his establishment and by far that is what matters! Five stars for business engagement and management. The home made good and family friendly atmosphere has made this our favourite restaurant in Thompson. Portion are huge with a choice of salad bar side salad or homemade soup with every entree. I had the pickeral today. I seldom order this in a restaurant as I often catch, fillet and cook my own. This was better than I make and that says a lot. Outside of the restaurant pretty regular, but was pleasantly surprised with the very nice Decor inside, this would be Thompsons fine dining. The food was great. My husband had the turkey corn chowder (was homemade) followed with the Monte Cristo sandwich with side salad. Delightful.
