Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Thompson

So, Pizza Hut in Thompson is takeout only — which, honestly, might be a blessing. You don’t have to sit in the questionable décor: tired carpet, wobbly chairs (if there were any), and that faint “old pizza and grease” smell that probably haunts the delivery counter anyway.

The pizza? It’s… pizza. The crust is inconsistent, the toppings are skimpy, and the flavor is just kind of there. Nothing fresh, nothing memorable, just enough to fill you up. Service is fine if you call it in and wait — which you do, because there’s no dine-in to distract you from the slow, slightly chaotic assembly of pre-packaged ingredients.

And yet somehow, Domino’s in Thompson scores 4.3 stars. Yes, Domino’s — processed meats, pre-packaged dough, chain cheese — somehow rates higher than Pizza Hut. That’s not just surprising, it’s Thompson-level absurd.

If you want takeout pizza and don’t care about quality, Pizza Hut will do the job. But don’t expect anything beyond edible, average chain pizza. Generous rating? 2 stars. Mostly for existing and keeping...

Terrible! Got my order wrong....called to complain and the manager just defended himself and wasn't willing to give me a credit...in fact he really didn't care that I wasn't happy! When I said h lost a customer he didn't care about that either! Tipped the driver before I knew the order was wrong...but he knew and couldn't leave fast enough when I figured it out.... business want you to support them and I do but this place could care less about customer satisfaction! Never will I support them again and I will share my experience with everyone.... and to think this could have been rectified with the common courtesy of an apology and a credit for the pizza I didn't get. Awful! The star is for the girl who answered the phone and seemed sorry about my experience.....SHE whoever she is should be...

Just moved to Thompson from Toronto. Adjusting to remote town life was a lot of work so I had to get takeout for dinner. Seeing a pizza hut just 10 minutes from me, I placed a pickup order. I ordered a personal pan pizza and I took it home after picking it up. However, I saw at home that they gave me the wrong order. I called them again to explain the situation. Without any second thought, the owner offered to remake the pizza for me, which I went to pick up. I was surprised with how accommodating the owner was. He recognized their mistake and offered to make it right for me. As a new Thompson resident, I can safely say Pizza Hut will be my go-to...
