Love this place!! My partner and I ate at the 2 Bay Street location the previous evening. We had such a great experience (food was delicious, customer service was impeccable) that we decided to try their location at 3 Eliza street as well. I can't say enough good things about this spot. The food and drinks were just as delicious 😋 (see photos for calamari, poutine, fried chicken burger, craft elk drink that tasted like mango). Forgot to grab a photo of the whitefish my partner ordered, but it was delicious! They also offer all-you-can-eat whitefish and all-you-can-eat fried chicken at this location. Cute view overlooking the harbour and ferry as well. But the real cherry on top for this place is the server we had. Not only was he hilarious and had us giggling the whole time, but he was genuinely invested into making sure that our table (and every other table for that matter) was happy, getting their food/drinks in a reasonable time, and delivering great customer service. I highly recommend eating here if you want delicious seafood and awesome customer service. My partner and I will 100% be coming back here next time we visit Tobermory! 😊 10/10 guys!!

Bbq chicken tasted better than the hot fried chicken. They were pretty busy over the weekend but the staff was friendly.

Walked over for dinner from our motel across the street, and were given a table almost immediately, by our server Carla. Carla was very nice, responsive, and friendly. She served us water immediately and cocktails moments later. We both ordered the fried chicken and were not disappointed. Portions were large, and served hot. Their Southern style corn was quite tasty, as was their Cole-slaw. Conversely, the rice was nothing spectacular, but could easily be managed when drown in their (canned) gravy and hot sauce. It wasn’t bad…it just wasn’t remarkable. They offered a seemingly tasty “Key Lime Cheesecake” for dessert, but we declined as we are not cheesecake enthusiasts. FYI- They close for the season on October 20, 2024. We would return when they re-open next season around May long weekend.

Good food for sure.

I was going to catch the ferry to Manitoulin Island so I had just over an hour to kill and a friend of mine recommended their fried chicken.

So over I went. Sat down very quickly, took probably 5ish minutes for the server to come over, not a big deal. Ordered the 3 piece fried chicken meal with Rice. Food came out in about 10 minutes, but I came with fries, I pointed it out and she scurried off before I could tell her not to bother with the rice, so I grabbed one of the other waitresses and said to let my waitress know don't bother bringing me the rice just bring me some gravy. Couple of minutes later she shows up with Rice and Gravy. Ok, I told her that this was way too much food which is why I said not to bother with the rice. She said is wasn't a problem to enjoy the feast.

I ate the meal, the fries and the gravy the rice was alright but way too much. The chicken was really good the corn was very soft but tasty, the fries were alright and the rich wasn't great almost tasted burnt.

There were lots of dogs on the patio which is always awesome. There's lots of shade too.

Then the bill comes and she charges me for the gravy, which kind of annoyed me because if she had listened the first time I wouldn't have needed the gravy or the second time I wouldn't have needed the rice.

Anyway, the waitress was good overall with the exception notes above, the food was good as well, it's close to the ferry terminal, cold beer, and you can bring your dogs on the patio.

Overall I would recommend this place for someone looking to kill a little bit of time waiting for the...

Make sure you're very hungry!

I stopped in with my wife after reading all of the positive reviews about the All You Can Eat Fish and Chips. The friendly server greeted and seated us swiftly. The interesting pirate theme and the island music vibes playing on the patio set the tone.

Although the All You Can Eat Fried Chicken was enticing, I had to go with the fish. Just to clarify, the All You Can Eat Fish is the same whitefish they serve with the single meal, so it's a no-brainer for the price as long as you are hungry. My first dish came out with 2 pieces of battered whitefish atop a bed of fries. The fries were somewhat skinny, but acually had delicious flavour. The battered whitefish really stole the show and surprised me. Being All You Can Eat, I wasn't expecting great quality, but the fish was actually really delicious! The outside batter was light and crispy and the whitefish inside was hot, fresh, and really tasty. I was very relieved to see the malt vinegar at my table...a must for fish and chips IMO. The server also brought tarter sauce...packets, but better than nothing. As I was getting close to halfway through my first dish, the server confirmed that I would like another round. I asked for just more fish and server gladly obliged. The next dish had 2 more (even bigger) pieces of hot and delicious whitefish. At this point, I was quite full and held up there, but I definitely got great value and great quality!

I will definitely come back the next time I'm...

So good we went twice.

We first went on a busy Saturday for lunch and were greeted with the a friendly Pirate at the door. He informed us there was a 45min wait as they had a full patio and a bus tour inside.

We decided to leave and returned after we were told by a local at the boat tour about their Fish and Chips.

Atmosphere was great with this pirate themed restaurant. Great tunes on a very busy patio.

Really good Fish & Chips, so good I was allowed to upgrade to the All You Can Eat option after I devoured the first piece.

Vegetarian rice bowl was a great option for our daughter who has food allergies.

Small selection of beer but the bucket of Landshark hit the spot.

The best thing was the service. Smooth sailing at this place with Smokey as our server. He was prompt with every request. Knew what options were available for our daughter and certainly pulls off the Pirate theme with his ability to engage with the adults, but moreover all the kids on the patio.

Smokey was also very informative about the area and helped us with a variety of questions we had.

Overall our best eating experience on our trip so we decided on a repeat the following day. Unfortunately Smokey was not there but Luke did a great job...
