Let me start off by saying that the iced coffee is not only AMAZING but was gentle on my lactose intolerance!!!! Lol! It was perfectly made and helped me get to Toronto! As for the staff, they are WONDERFUL and super friendly. They made an impression that I’ll never forget. I hope to visit the Bruce peninsula campgrounds again soon but will definitely be stopping by the Hungry Hiker anytime I make my boat trip to manitoulin island not only to purchase some great coffee, and try more of what they offer but to also give them all a well deserved tip that I couldn’t afford the first time! Fingers crossed I get a spot on the boat this weekend to or from south bay mouth so I can stop in, say hello and pay it forward like they did for me.

Yours truly, The girl that was trying to pay with prepaids by swipe, who had no money because of a lost bank card.

Awesome little spot right off the main highway very close to the motels down by the harbour. Definitely within walking distance and not a bad way to work off the calories after you eat. Food is reasonably priced for the area that you are visiting. If you’re looking for a A quick meal to grab with the kids or perhaps take back to your room. This is a really good spot. Not an overly amount of spots to sit down and eat however, there are about 20 seats. They pack them in nice little to go containers. We got breakfast, which included a grilled cheese a western sandwich and another sandwich called the believer… My daughter Of course got mozzarella sticks. Always get to support local community eateries when visiting places like Tobermory. I did also have a brisket sandwich from here On another occasion for dinner. The brisket was unreal, very tender, juicy,...

Visited the food truck location a few times during my visit in Tobermory and it did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwiches were SO good, the tub muffin and the believer were both delicious, even the coffee was tasty. They set out a few tables around the food truck so there was always a spot to sit.

We also tried their lunch/dinner. My family got a bit of everything. The Sweaty Yeti sandwich was so juicy and flavourful. The Mac bites were creamy. The doughnuts reminded me of Tiny Tom. BUT the real star of the show is their brisket! The brisket poutine and grilled cheese were hands-down the best things on their menu, and possibly the best brisket I’ve ever had.

All the prices were reasonable considering the high quality of food and best believe when I return to Tobermory this’ll be the spot I most frequent. Thank you Hungry Hiker and staff for some...

My partner and I have been to The Hungry Hiker several times and have been consistently impressed by their great food, service, and outdoor space. We are always met with top-tier service, and in our recent visits with our dogs, were kindly offered brisket to give to them. The space itself gets better with each visit, featuring a cute outdoor dining space with a kid and pet-friendly “park” to enjoy. In a tourist town where businesses easily can, and do, charge high prices for food, The Hungry Hiker offers reasonable prices and offer great value with every order. My partner and I are especially fans of their “The Believer” breakfast sandwich, coffee, and iced chai. There’s good reason for the fantastic reviews. We highly recommend a stop at The Hungry Hiker during your next visit to Tobermory.

Just what we needed on a wet chilly morning; good vibes, great eats, and wonderful people. We stopped here on a rainy morning while camping in Bruce Peninsula park and it was everything I didn't know I needed. Our party ordered tots, dilly tots, chai, and a breakfast sandwich with tots. All of the food was absolutely delicious- I had the tots and the chai and the chai was brewed beautifully. What really made the experience was the incredibly kind staff and the quirky atmosphere. The family games, the jokes tossed or way from staff, the sasquatch statues and the quaint covered eating area brought some joy to a terrible start. I would absolutely stop here again the next time I visit bruce peninsula.
