Best kind of post-hangover food. Dan Dan noodles - 4.8/5 - if you’re intimidated with the menu - this is the option that will cure any indecisive picker - umami strong, spicy , the best kind of chilli oily noodle Tossed noodles with double cooked pork belly - 4.4/5 - we got with an add on on braised beef - and it healed our soul Mala noodles - 4.5/5 spicy & soothing - great umami Braised beef noodle - 4.7/5 - another option for the indecisive, savoury , tender TENDER beef Pork belly skewers - 4.8/5 - tender, a little nice kick, just how you crave a skewer Wontons with sesame sauce - 5/5 - I’m coming back to just eat this on its own - not sharing w/ anyone :p - my soul was healed. It was so goode, when we entered the store , someone was hand wrapping the wontons/dumplings. Chocolate ovaltine drink - 4.2/5 - great! Noodles were chewy and great. Items had a great customizable section - option to customize spice, numbness and add ons Must go. I will be back again

We had an awesome time at this noodle spot! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered one dish mild spicy, and the other two were meant to be super spicy. The very spicy dishes were perfect, and even though the mild one was a bit spicier than expected, they fixed it for us with a smile. Great food and great service overall!

This is my second visit to this place. I'm very picky about food and never come back for a second visit if it doesn't suit my taste. But this Sichuan noodle restaurant is different. It's staffed by young people, and the environment is clean and comfortable, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. What's more surprising is the young chef. He not only has excellent skills but also has a unique understanding of traditional Sichuan flavors. His attention to detail shows his patience and passion. Whether it's the control of heat or the balance of seasoning, everything is just right. Every bowl of noodles has a distinct layering and a soul that lingers in your memory. What's most remarkable is that despite his youth, he has an unwavering dedication and focus on food. His seriousness makes you feel at ease and touched while eating. It's a rare stroke of luck to encounter such a talented and promising chef in a place like this.

I have been to this place for about 5 or 6 times and I tried many different dishes and I have to say this restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been in Toronto and I have been to many good Chinese restaurants since I been here for 22 years. I decided to make this review after I tried their century eggs in roasted pepper sauce, I have no idea where the smoky flavor is coming from but my goodness I have never ever tasted a smoked century egg at all and it's absolutely incredible. I tried century eggs in many Chinese restaurants but this is the first time I tried a century egg that is smoky! It's ingenious, the smoke pretty much eradicated that strong ammonium flavor that you would get when you eat a regular century egg. This restaurant also made a soy sauce with vinegar and chilies and it's just mind boggling. Aside from this dish their dan dan noodles is just as good, it's so smokey that anyone can literally smell the smoke within sitting distance, you don't even need to put your nose close to the bowl and smell the smoke. Their sliced beef and beef tripe with chili sauce is the best sliced beef/trip chili sauce dish I had in Toronto too! Yang braised chicken makes a great sliced beef in chili sauce dish but this restaurant is even better, the beef trip is like jelly so the texture is incredible and the flavor is greatly infused with the sauce which you won't get in many Chinese restaurants. There skewers are also really good, it's so tender it can melt in your mouth and it has an amazing kick! I could write an essay that is 2000 words long analyzing their dishes and how good they really are. No words can describe how good this restaurant is, there are decent amount of restaurants in Toronto where you taste the food and taste good, but I am confident to say there are only very few restaurants in Toronto if not the whole world where not only the food tastes good but the food is so creative and unique that people can't help themselves to marvel at the ingenuity of the dish. Just because I said the food is creative and unique it doesn't mean this restaurant is not authentic, I believe they are, I lived with Chinese people for decades and ate food with them for years and went to Chinese restaurants for 2 decades. The way they approach all their dishes doesn't take away the authenticity but rather show their identity. There's a famous phrase where people say you can know people by the way they cook and it's really hard to truly feel the truth of that phrase, but if anyone goes to this restaurant, I am very certain you can truly feel the chef's identity and his or her view of the world by tasting their dishes. Many Chinese noodle restaurants have their noodles cut thick but this restaurant have their noodles very thin, which is similar to the texture of ramen noodles. I don't know if it's because of the thinness but the texture of this restaurant's noodles feels superior than all Chinese restaurants in Toronto. As a foodie, this restaurant keeps giving me a life changing experience and a humbling lesson that there is more for me to learn about cooking. The servers are very nice, and the owner of the restaurant is one of the kindest people you will ever meet and knows a lot about food. He gave me great details of how the dishes were made and if I had a chance I wouldn't mind listening to him talk about cooking for hours! Some restaurant owners don't have much passion about food and they barely want to talk to customers, but the owner gives time to talk to me when he can and he talks about food with great passion. Now, I ain't forgetting the ambience of the restaurant, it's really clean including the bathroom, spacey, and have great design! I really apologize to everyone for giving a long review, but if people have the time I hope they...
