Eggsmart — Restaurant in Toronto

This Eggsmart location is close to where I live, so I was excited to have it be my solid brunch location....but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. We came around 2pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was relatively empty, we were seated by the window. Without going into details, a questionable individual was soon seated next to us, and the smell and noise really affected the atmosphere for us so we asked to be moved.

When ordering, they asked if I wanted my eggs benedict to be soft, medium, or hard, and also if we wanted our home fries well-done or deep-fried, so we appreciated the customization. When our food came and halfway through finishing, I discovered a sizeable chunk of black fluff in my bacon. We told the waiter who checked with the kitchen staff, and were told it was residue that had fallen down from the stove hood...they offered to make me the dish again, and I said they could just make half the dish since I had already finished half of mine. I was a little disappointed when the bill came to see they had still charged us the full amount for the meal, despite the mishap that totally disrupted the eating experience.

I really wanted to like this place :( but given everything that went wrong I cannot come back. The service was also mediocre, I felt the waiter did everything he needed to, but was generally not very attentive or warm (not even when we found the fluff in my dish), potentially because it was off-peak hours and he was pre-occupied with cleaning or...

I had the pleasure of visiting Eggsmart today, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home. It’s not something you find everywhere these days, and it made a big difference in my overall experience.

The restaurant itself was spotless — very clean and well-maintained. You can tell they take great pride in creating a comfortable and hygienic environment for their customers. The seating area was bright and cozy, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing meal.

Now let’s talk about the food — delicious! Everything I ordered was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. From perfectly cooked eggs to crispy toast and hearty portions, each bite was satisfying and tasty. You can really taste the quality ingredients, and the menu offers great variety whether you’re in the mood for a big breakfast or something lighter.

Another big plus is that they have ample parking right on site, which made getting in and out super convenient — especially during busy hours when street parking can be a hassle.

Overall, I highly recommend Eggsmart if you’re looking for great food, clean surroundings, and friendly service. It’s clear that they care about their customers, and it shows in every detail. I’ll definitely be...

Literally just order from here. I ordered the the two-handed Norwegian smoked salmon bagel. It was supposed to come with arugula but instead they put spinach. No one called to asked me if they were able to substitute not even considering I have an allergy to spinach The sandwhich is supposed to have a spicy cream cheese. You’d think it would be an infused cream cheese with Jalapeños considering there was an option to remove the jalapeños.. wrong, they just put dashes of Tabasco sauce on it. I paid an extra $1.99 to have cheddar cheese on my home fries. Nope, instead they added processed cheese onto my smoked salmon bagel.. can you imagine how disgusting that would be to have processed cheese on a smoked salmon sandwich.. it doesn’t even make culinary sense. They completely messed my entire order up, I wasted $20 dollars for a meal that was not even edible. The home fries are cold and don’t taste good. The whole meal was completely inedible. I’m not sure who their chef is or who creates the menu but the food doesn’t match the description. I couldn’t even eat the meal for so many reasons. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this breakfast spot to anyone who truly values breakfast/food. I give it zero stars if that...
