Poor customer service throughout the pick up process.

I called in the restaurant to order my food, when I sum up my food plus tax, it should be about $33 based on the online menu but they are charging me $38. The lady told me they had 10% off online orders, so I didn’t argue and just hanged up to order online which landed me to the $33 I had initally. Anyways whatever.

I walked through the snow to pick up the order, got back home and they forgot the fish sauce that goes with my vermicelli! I called them up, they said it was in the packaging, and I argued it wasn’t there at all. Then they admitted to forgetting it and asked us to pick it up. It was insanely windy outside with snow and slippery. I suggested for someone to drop it off instead but they decided not to. I asked them how they can compensate me. They didn’t even bother or care. Our pho is cold on one hand, and the vermicelli is useless without the sauce.

Pho base soup tasted okay, it wasn’t that flavorful compared to the once in Mississauga. The chicken and pork sausage vermicelli was flavourful, though just the overall experience that was ruined. It wasn’t amazing to go back to though.

Overall, horrible experience with terrible customer service that doesn’t care. They can’t even offer a free soup for going through the cold windy winter. They said they’ll give me 10% off next order, they didn’t even message me or email me. How the hell are they going to implement it?! It’s not very friendly with car and parking either. Plus there’s some slippery stairs especially...

I checked out PHO OK with my friend and was somewhat disappointed by the food. The restaurant is located on the second floor, with a nondescript grey sign featuring the "OK" hand gesture. Inside, it was well-maintained, though the floor was slightly slippery due to the rainy weather outside, but nothing alarming. The restaurant's setup, with one entire wall made of glass, allowed natural light to come in, making it an inviting place to dine. I tried the large-sized P1 House Special Beef Noodle Soup. The food came in a large white ceramic bowl. It had a good amount of firm rice noodles with all the toppings you could ask for. I noted the more-than-average fat floating on the soup. The soup itself was quite mild, and there wasn't much to comment on about the food itself. It was slightly disappointing to me because the food prices were not cheap. I would not rate this dish as a high-value meal. The servers were generally attentive and helpful. They did not allow separate bills on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which was inconvenient. The tables and utensils were clean; however, tissues were only available upon request. There was only a single washroom located inside the kitchen, and it was very small and not easily accessible. Overall, I did not fully appreciate my time here. The natural light and overall cleanliness of the restaurant gave me high hopes, but the fatty phở, low value, and inaccessible restroom made it hard for me to recommend PHO OK. I would...

This is going to sound harsh but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in North York. Felt scammy and the food was not good. Definitely do not recommend and would take the ratings with a grain of salt as they ask customers to leave 5* reviews for 10% off.

The food: the vegetarian options were terrible. We appreciated that they didn't use a meat broth so decided to try it but the pho tasted like it had been cooked in rag water. Smelled very off despite the veggies looking fresh. The veggie vermicelli was flavourless and bland. Definitely would not recommend to other vegetarians. The meat dishes might be good.

The service: it was far from closing time and I understand that they want to keep the restaurant clean but sweeping and mopping while you customers are eating is not the way. This also made the whole place smell like dirty mop water as well as the table tops. The mop and rags should probably be sanitized. We were equally disappointed when the saw after walked passed our table several times that the pho was left on the side and not eaten and did not think/care you ask how the food was. When we went to pay they did not remove the item - we asked if they could since it tasted off and we did not eat it. They refused and asked us to leave a 5* Google review for 10% off. This was the most upsetting part of the meal since we realized that the reviews that drew us here were likely done by customers who were incentivized to...

—Updated Review— Note: the restaurant gives 10% off in exchange for 10% off, even though I did not take the deal, but it does mean the high rating could be not well deserved Tried Pho OK in North York recently. The food is decent, but the portion sizes are quite small for the price, which makes it feel a bit expensive. The restaurant itself is small but has a decent ambiance. Service is standard—nothing special but what you’d expect from a typical Vietnamese/Chinese eatery. I had the Bún Bò Huế, and while the flavor was okay, the color looked a bit off, which made me wonder if food coloring was used. Overall, I’d give it 3.5 stars. If you don’t mind walking a bit further, Dear Saigon near Yonge and Finch is worth checking out for a better experience and value. —Old Review— PHO OK Do I Recommend? Yes. Pretty authentic Vietnamese food which is difficult to find in this area. How is the service? The service was pretty good, nothing to complain about. How is the food? the food was surprisingly better than expected. We tried the Bun Bo Hue and Porkchop broken rice, and they were very decent. It’s not easy find good tasting Vietnamese cuisine in this area so I definitely consider this a gem and a must try if you like Vietnamese food. we will come back and try their Pho!

You know how sometimes you go into a Vietnamese restaurants - eat, pay, leave, and you end up smelling like pho for the rest of the day? That won't happen here. It feels fresh, new, and clean. It's a smaller restaurant, about 6 tables. Name and number is taken down for COVID-19 contact tracing, but we all know ain't nobody tracing contacts. Prompt and friendly service - seriously, the gentleman running the tables and cash is A1. No communal utensil trays or napkins. You write down your order on your own. Menu is their take out menu. The pho is pretty good - nice broth, not too salty, but lacks that beefy oomph. The dac biet (special) comes with sliced beef, brisket, beef balls, and chicken - no tendon or tripe. Their large size is a healthy portion. Reasonable pricing, 4 bowls of pho after tax and tip (5% cash discount) was around $52 - that's pretty good for Yonge and Sheppard! Free underground parking, take your time going down that ramp, especially if your vehicle has a low kit. For pho, in the Yonge/Sheppard area - it's the best option, 5 star option for the area. 4 stars overall - there are better pho joints near Keele or Jane. Will be back to try their bun Bo hue and vermicelli dishes.
