Alright, let's talk A&W Canada, real talk. Basically, it's that fast-food joint you hit up when you want something that feels a bit more legit than your average burger run. The Beef Thing: They're kinda known for saying their beef's better, and honestly, a lot of people agree. It tastes...beefier? Less mystery meat, more actual burger. Root Beer, Duh: Seriously, their root beer is iconic. If you haven't had it, you're missing out. It's that creamy, old-school kind that hits the spot. Teen Burger Love: That's their classic, and it's a crowd-pleaser for a reason. Simple, tasty, gets the job done. Breakfast Wins: Surprisingly, their breakfast is pretty solid. Like, "I'd actually choose this" solid. Canadian Vibes: It's a Canadian thing, you know? It's got that comfy, familiar feel. Sometimes It's...Fast Food: Look, it's still fast food. Sometimes you get a perfect burger, sometimes it's just okay. It depends on the location and the day, like any other...
Read moreI wouldn’t normally leave a review for a fast food chain but the employee I dealt with for this particular visit provided exceptional service, it deserves to be acknowledged. (However I didn’t get his name ): ) I recently moved to Toronto and was shocked at the lack of customer service in the food industry here. People truly don’t care, orders always wrong, and they give attitude. The employee working cash around 7:30pm last night (August 13th) was so patient and so on top our order and so pleasant to speak to. We received everything we ordered, everything was made correctly and he went above and beyond to label everything so it was easy to identify what was what. Also gave us a big bag to help carry it all out (it was a fairly large order). On top of that, the food was incredible and the restaurant was so clean and inviting. We will definitely...
Read moreI usually love A&W but at this location, they aren’t doing so well. I went to order a chubby burger and I chose the buddy size (smaller) and the girl working told me there’s no lettuce so I asked to add lettuce. She told me it was 60 cents extra and I said fine. I then also ordered the piripiri chicken burger for my sister. When we took out order to the car and drove home to open it, her burger tasted like their masala burger, pretty sure they made the wrong one and my buddy chicken burger had no lettuce!! I paid 60 cents for a thin piece of lettuce to be added to this sad burger and they didn’t even put it in. Not to mention there’s 3 TINY pickle slices and barely any mayo. So disappointing, especially because I paid for lettuce and it was on the order but they still managed to forget it and mess up my sisters burger. It wasn’t even...
