Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Toronto

I ordered thursday special and small fries separately for my son, and as a popeyes customers for 7 years i dont think this is the proper way to prepare orders. This is the first time that i ordered and they put all together in one box and not sure if the small fries is much as like we had pay for. We didnt touch this yet but the amount of fries for me is an acceptable. Theyre lucky we just found out and open it when we were in the car on our way home and my son was hungry. They should atleast put in a small bag for fries and the price for this small amount of fries are not fair for $2.+. Hope they will do their job properly next time and be fair enough for the price and for the service. Take note. That day was not busy and we are just 2 customers inside so they dont have reason not to do their job properly. So...

Contracted food poisoning from a chicken combo I ordered the previous evening. I was horrified enough when I bit into a piece of chicken only to discover its interior was bright pink; rather than have to split open every piece of chicken after patronising this location for a simple order, I'd rather support some other franchise where customer safety is taken seriously.

Interestingly, the other pieces of chicken were hardly tender and most of the food was severely lacking in taste and seasoning, temperature was also quite lukewarm upon my time of receiving the order.

I usually enjoy Popeyes, but my recent visit was disappointing. I placed a takeout order and noticed that the sauce I requested was missing. When I politely asked the cashier about it, she got defensive and responded with an attitude that felt unnecessarily rude.

To make matters worse, when I asked for a spork, she snapped back saying I should have mentioned the order was "for here"—as if that somehow justified not providing utensils with a meal. I didn't think I needed to clarify that just to receive basic items with my food.

Customer service plays a big part in the dining experience, and unfortunately, this visit fell short. I hope the staff receives some coaching on handling requests more...
