Chatime — Restaurant in Toronto

I love me some good Chatime bubble tea to cheer me up and satisfy my bbt cravings. I've ordered from this location twice in the past month, as it's the closest to me. Needless to say, I'm disappointed with the quality of drinks and the service I've received from the team.

On my first visit, I walked in and ordered 6 drinks for my family. I had a hard time understanding/hearing the staff who took my order; they seemed very distracted and out of it, and quite frankly, they looked unhygienic (They were scratching everywhere, including inside of their hoodie!). The music was way too loud (It felt like I was at a club) They also made a mistake on one of the drinks - they added sea salt crema on my brown sugar pearl oat milk. I specifically told them that I'm a vegan and that I didn't want the foam. I had to ask them to remake my drink.

The second time I ordered, I placed my order online. This time, they did not seal the cup properly, the drink (Chocolate Malt Milk Tea) spilled inside the bag. I had to drink what's left from the cup, as a quarter of the tea spilled. Perhaps there's a way to seal the cups better/more secure so they don't spill.

I'll probably take my time and not come back for a bit; drinks and service were lackluster and...

This is by far my favourite Cha time location of all! Hands down🙌🏼They always make my drink right as my go to is the roasted milk tea. It’s not watered down and it’s always consistent.

As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is so cozy and it’s sucha vibe. Very spacious space and clean! Today is extra special because I came in there to get my bday treat and I happened to be served by the owner and dare I say it, he was such a vibe and cool! He even upgraded my drink from a regular size. One thing that really stood out to me—you can tell there’s a real care behind this place. My experience felt even more memorable and that speaks volume about the way he run things there.

I can always count on a refreshing beverage from Chatime! this time, we were in an unfamiliar neighbourhood and happy to find a place for a refreshing drink. It was very spacious and clean with a few tables for seating.

I loved the high ceiling but the air conditioning ducts were dripping a line of water, forcing us to move from one table to another.

The lock on the lone washroom did not work and could easily have been fixed with the installation of a latch, rather than a sign saying it didn't work.
