Horrible beyond words. This is why I try not to order anything on uber eats because they just dump whatever they want into your order. The hummus was watery and rancid too. Both chicken shawarma wraps were inedible, soggy. The salad, I couldn’t even get myself to try. How many days old is this salad? The falafels were bricks you could make a hole in the wall with if you threw them. How can people get away with this?

I must have driven by this place millions of times and finally decided to stop in for a chicken shawarma. I went on a Monday so I was able to get two shawarma's and a coke for 20 bucks with the tip. The ladies were amazing friendly and helpful. The chicken shawarma was okay.

Amazing middle eastern food and super friendly staff. The flavours are so authentic and delicious. Very happy we stopped in here. Chicken shawarma was quite a bit better than the beef shawarma though.

Let me start with the food at Ali Baba's is very tastey over all but there are some things that bother me...I was at this location (Steeles Ave near Weston) last week, where they have tables and chairs lined up in front of the food counter so as to keep customers 2m away(covid safety) but there is a gap in between. When I walked in there was a person standing in that gap for quite some time as he ordered many wraps. The staff said nothing to remind him to stand back 6ft. At the Rexdale location another guy was reaching over the glass to directly point at the toppings he wanted! I mean seriously!? And no one says anything to them!? The glass is see through and it's there to keep contaminants out! Another thing that bothers me about them, but not many other places are different, is that they don't spread the toppings evenly through the length of the wrap... every bite is different! They also need to be a little more organized when serving customers I think... it's like one takes your order and starts making your wrap then the other will move in and work in it, then the first person gets back in there to finish and take your money. Again though, very tastey food and my favourite shawarma chain in the GTA. Best tasting beef shawarma(some don't even have beef), best and actual tabouleh salad/topping (not just parsley) and pickled red cabbage topping are why I...

Glad that we have an ali baba's in the area, the restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained and food is flavourful and fresh. My favourites are the chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel wrap, the have daily deals that are a great price!

The staff are friendly and courteous, but when they get very busy and there is a line, the service and attention to hygiene get looked over. Multiple times that I have been there and it has been busy I noticed that they didn't take their gloves off when touching the checkout machine and money and resumed to serve others with the same gloves on.

Also, when busy, they rush to get everyone's orders put together and ingredients that I said I didn't want were put into my wrap. I'd rather wait a little longer and get the right ingredients.

I will definitely give them another chance and hopefully by then this issue...

I asked for a shawarma plate with rice and fries on the side. Instead of simply taking my order, the man (wearing pajamas) told me it would be “too much food” for me. When I insisted, he showed attitude and then refused, saying it was “too much work” for him to fry the fries. First, it’s too much food for me, then it’s too much work for him? Completely unprofessional.

Later, I asked if he was the owner of this location. He said no, “the founder of Ali Baba” is. I asked again, clarifying I meant this specific restaurant, and he repeated the same vague answer. I ended up taking just a wrap.

Overall, this was one of the rudest experiences I’ve ever had, and I will not be coming back. There are plenty of restaurants that actually value...
