Almadina Bistro: Halal Pizzeria — Restaurant in Toronto

This restaurant is shady, as they continue to deceive their customers, unfortunately that reputation will follow their business. Their "BOGO" deals are indeed price inflated. Examples from "Almadina Bistro", by the way, they have like 5 different restaurants listed on UberEATS for the same 1 business.

Their "BOGO" deals: Their Philly Joe's Burger (ONLY BURGER) is $14.99 for 2. With taxes and delivery fee (the restaurant doesn't get this portion of the sale, however it ultimately adds a cost to the customer) it comes to $22.27. On their CLASSIC menu, they have the Philly Joe's burger WITH FRIES for $10.99. For a few more dollars you get it WITH FRIES. How is that a BOGO? YOU Purposely increased the price by $4 and excluded fries, and then the customer has to pay the subtotal fee and tax on top of that.

Their "BOGO" Build your own pizza is $16 for a cheese pizza, add toppings is an extra charge. If you scroll down their regular build your own pizza is $12. AGAIN... you are purposely inflating prices, you are offering a true bogo deal.

They also used to charge customers $15 for ONE 3oz slice of cake that they don't even prepare themselves and after taxes and fees it would come to $21 for ONE slice of the smallest cake ever. EXTREMELY SHADY.. and I wish they wouldn't keep...

I was on my way to buy lunch from Patties Express when this guy stopped me on the street to tell me about this new restaurant that was giving away free pizza. So I went there to check it out. DO NOT LET THE FLIGHT OF STAIRS DETER YOU! The food is extremely delicious! I not only tried their free slice, I also bought a order of cheesesteak and fries. Everything on the menu is halal and food items like pepperoni and bacon are sourced from beef. I personally don't eat pork so that was good to hear. I did take the veggie slice and it was great. The crust was very nice and foldable, the veggies were plentiful, and the slice went down easy. Very well done! The fries were nice and crispy but had a sort of batter on them so be aware if that's not your thing. The cheesesteak filled with meaty goodness and messy. Sandwiches are supposed to be messy, that's the mark of a great sandwich! I enjoyed every bite of it! They also serve burgers and chicken wings but I haven't tried those yet. Almadina Bistro is easily one of the finest halal pizzerias I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. The pizza was exceptional, with every detail crafted to perfection.
