Ariel and Yasaman Faghih should be fired! They do no deserve to work at Healthy Planet. They were rude and obnoxious. I arrived the Yonge and Dundas branch to return two sealed, unopened items (Progressive grass fed isolate protein and Honey candle pillar beeswax). I had ordered multiple items worth $280 (order numbers 2003477374 and 2003317831) but was returning two of the items, which cost a total of $82.88 plus taxes. I was made to wait in line for a while and when I was next in line, Ariel ignored me -- a black woman and attended to someone else -- a white man who was not even in line and had walked in right after me. I was livid. As if that was not all, Ariel and Yasaman made me fill out two forms for my returns. When I exclaimed that I have never had to fill out forms to return items anywhere in Canada, Yasaman took the forms from me and completed it herself, then asked me to sign. I did. I further explained to Ariel and Yasaman that I already contacted customer service over the phone before coming to their location and the agent that I spoke with over the phone said an email had been sent to the branch and all I had to do was provide the branch with my order numbers. I wondered why they were treating me so shabbily. Ariel and Yasaman ignored my explanations and said that is how returns are done at their location. Now, prior to now, I have NEVER returned an item at a physical store in Healthy Planet as I mostly shop online. When Yasaman asked me the reason for the return, I explained that the Progressive protein was delivered to my home late and I ended up purchasing something else before its arrival. On the other hand, the Honey Candle was returned because I decided to go with a different brand. Yasaman then went ahead to ask me two more times why the items were returned. I was frustrated at this point and said I already explained why and I did not understand why I was being asked the same question three times. Moreover, when I called customer service before coming to the store, I had already explained the reasons for the return which was documented. Yasaman then went ahead to ask me if the items were sealed. It seemed like they were out to frustrate me at this point. I was shocked because Yasaman could clearly see the items were sealed. Yasaman pretended not to believe me and tried to physically open the Progressive protein container but because it was sealed, she could not. Next, Yaman unwrapped the candle. I asked Yasaman why she would think I was lying to her when she could clearly see that the items were unused and sealed (photos attached). At this point, I was furious and asked to speak with the manager but Yasaman LIED and said Ariel was the manager. I was not provided with a return receipt or any documentation showing proof of return, so I took photos of the returned items and the forms I was forced to partially complete and sign. Upon leaving the store, I decided to phone the branch because I suspected Yasaman had lied about Ariel being the manager as there was no way a manager would speak to a customer in that manner. Ariel answered the phone, identified herself and then confessed that there was no store manager present at my time of visit. She said there was no way a manager could be present for 24 hours. Please note, I was only there for less than an hour. When I queried her about Yasaman blatantly lying to me as she had claimed Ariel was the manager while I was present in the store, Ariel smirked and said Yasaman was the manager on the floor at the time of my visit. To put it even more clearly, Ariel claimed Yasaman was the manager and Yasaman had claimed Ariel was the manager. Unbelievable! Irritated, I hung up the phone and assured her they would be reported to the head office. I’m hereby demanding a complaint to be filed against Ariel and Yasaman because it is clear this is how they treat black customers. For years, I have loyally shopped at Healthy Planet but NO MORE! I am giving you 24 hours to process my refunds or I will take this even further.

Hii i am very very regular customer here i come almost everyday for food or groceries like everyday things, and i had written a lovely long good review for this location of Healthy Planet. Like i genuinely love them , but today i ordered my go-to veggie hummus sandwich and the avocado in the sandwich was BLACK and smelly. I had to remove the avocado and eat my sandwich. If an avocado is that spoilt its not meant to be eaten :) Some staff here are amazing and make sure to give the best but some staff here just dont care :) Please don’t add rotten veggies, we come to this place for the quality of ingredients, dont let that slip away. thanks! I am sorry i still am very fond of you and had to write this review with a heavy heart 😕

Love this Healthy Planet location! So conveniently located and it's filled with everything I need. It carries all my supplements, my fresh Blackbird essentials and from time to time they have exciting vendor stations inside to introduce you to new and amazing products. I discovered Beck's Broth hot chocolate bone broth powder. What a fun and creative way to incorporate more collagen and protein in your diet. The building looks small on the outside but is actually larger on the inside and has two floors. The staff is friendly and helpful. They carry, produce, frozen food, snacks, beauty products, supplements and even have a small cafe that I have yet to try.

I had a disappointing experience at the Healthy Planet store on Yonge and Dundas on February 23rd around 2:30-3 PM. I picked up my items and went to the cashier near the door. From the moment I approached, the cashier looked at me strangely. I greeted her and proceeded with my purchase. She asked if I was a member, to which I said no, and then she asked if I wanted to sign up. I declined, but what happened next was unacceptable.

She then asked, in a strange tone, if I was buying these items for myself. The way she asked made it clear that she assumed I was a delivery driver, which was both unprofessional and offensive. As an Indian customer, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced such treatment—something similar happened to me at the Sheppard location as well.

It’s frustrating and disappointing to be judged based on assumptions rather than treated with basic respect. No customer should have to deal with racial bias while shopping. Healthy Planet needs to address this issue with proper training to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. I won’t be returning to...

I cannot fathom the amount of detail and work that Francesca had put in on answering the questions that I had when it came to knowing supplements. Went into full detail about the purpose of what the supplements would benefit my body and what it does on a molecular level. Very detailed oriented, insightful, and even went above and beyond on what supplements are daily vs those that can take throughout the week. I must also make praise for Amanda for helping out. Very kind and thoughtful with making decision about what products are the best in the store. Explained what supplements that have been being used throughout history and the benefits that it has bestowed upon those who have taken them. I cannot explain how much gratitude I have for these for making myself understand the basic foundations of vitamins and minerals. I felt like kid in candy store and if you ever step foot into this store. You should know that they actually do care about your health and had amazing personalities. Thank you so much and I cannot wait to start this journey on putting my health and wellbeing to...
