Love this Chinese bakery when I’m in the area. Always full and never disappoints. Even service is great as they are recommending items to try. Been here on many occasions and even when around 2 hours from closing, they still have enough buns to last. The specialty they have here.... the traditional 1000 layer cake made with coconut and egg yolk. Little pricier for the 1000 layer cake than a dim sum place, but now I can get it anytime if I choose!!! Buns are consistent and chicken pies are delicious!

Customer Service: 3/5 - however she is your typical Chinese auntie so really the service was 4/5 standard expectations. She did ask if we want the pre-made one behind the fridge or a new one/ she was able to make a completely fresh one in 20 mins Quality of cake: 5/5 - freshly made, it has also been a long time since I have had a chestnut cake so it’s very reminiscent of my childhood. The chestnut is not very heavy actually extremely light. Would give 4.5/5 but base on the cake completely it’s 5/5

I’m surprised to see the selections of fondant cakes at that bakery. I wanted to give it a try. Most fondant cake was so sweet. The lady was very patient to communicate with me. She understood what my vision was. I was so surprised how awesome the cake turned out. And the Chinese vanilla cake and buttercream filling was perfect. I add the decorations at the end. My husband, son, and guests loved them. Thank you so much, Aromaz bakery!

Shopping for Chestnut cakes in Toronto, since this place claims they sell them, decided to visit and buy a small slice to test before placing a customized order, glad I did.

Their cake might be fancy in the 80s or 90s, but certainly not up to standard in 2023. The chestnut cake tasted nothing like chestnut, just sugar. I had those prepackaged cake with a long expiry date at T&T tasted better than this.

I was also going to buy their toasts, since they are a bakery after all, but immediately changed my mind upon seeing their selection. If I have to give the bakery at Walmart a 2/10, and bakery at T&T a 5/10, this place is a solid 0.5/10.

As for the customer service. The two employees made inappropriate comment about us, in Hongkong dialogue/Cantonese, right in front of my face and other customers (They thought I don't understand, but I am able to understand...

The price is high and the quality is not that good. It's totally not worth. And the customer service is bad. When you ask a question, those ladies yell at you I guess cuz they are very busy. And at the cashier when I ask for an extra bag cuz I'm going to share some buns with a friend. Which I did explain to her. She told me that I'm so wasteful 浪費in Cantonese. What kind of customer service is this? Would I ask for an extra small tiny bag with no reason? Omg I'm so disappointed after paying an overpriced value for Chinese buns. Wasteful? She could have charged me for 5 cents but she should never comment this to any customer. It's a...
